   Absolute Perfection: Top-Tier Coffee and Cake in Town!I stopped by Trading Post Coffee Roasters and can honestly say this is the best coffee experience I've had in ages. I ordered their classic pairing: a Flat White and a slice of Coffee Cake, and both were flawless.The Flat White was absolute liquid gold. It had perfectly extracted espresso with a deep, rich flavor, and the microfoam was silky smooth—a true sign of a skilled barista. It was the ideal temperature to savor right away.The Coffee Cake was the perfect companion. It was incredibly moist, packed with rich coffee flavor and spice, and had the most delicious crumb topping. It paired flawlessly with the bold coffee.Beyond the drinks and food, the atmosphere is fantastic—bustling but cozy, clearly a spot where people care deeply about the craft. If you're looking for genuinely top-notch coffee and baked goods, look no further. Five stars all the way!

   I don't usually leave reviews but I hope that the owners of this cafe will read this and realise that their greed is obvious to the public. I have been coming to this cafe since it opened and have watched it deteriorate gradually over time. It is so apparent that the owners are intent on squeezing maximum profits by hiring less staff, drastic price increases, poorer quality ingredients and reduced portion sizes. The staff, however, are always lovely and friendly, quite possibly the only benefit of coming to this cafe. My wife and I just waited an hour for soup and a bacon sandwich, after being made aware of a 20 minute wait for food due to a lack of kitchen staff. This lengthy delay is a common occurrence and quite frankly not fair on anyone wishing to pop out for lunch during their lunch break. We ended up taking away our food due to lack of time and the soup barely filled up half of the takeaway cup. For £8.50! The soup was also inedible due to it being way too salty. I would like to reiterate that the staff are lovely and working tirelessly to cover for their money hungry bosses.

   Incredibly okay experience. Staff seemed really apathetic, not that they need to be ecstatic at work but it felt like they all resented being there. Music was also so incredibly mediocre; Chappell Roan was the highlight (!) Drinks were fine. I hate when paper straws disintegrate so quickly though. The positives were the wifi and that they stay open until 7.

   We dined in, ordering two classic rarebits and mushrooms on toast. The rarebit description stated “marmite and cheddar sauce on toasted sourdough with roasted vine tomatoes, dressed rocket and herb oil” for £12.95. What we received was plain melted cheese (no marmite) on toast with wilted rocket leaves (no dressing). I spoke to the waiter and asked for the missing items - tomatoes and the dressing. He brought tomatoes over. We waited for the mushroom on toast but it never came, we asked the waiter, he checked on it. By the time he came back two of us had finished our food. He told us there has been a mix up but it would come. We told him it was too late and we received a refund for the food that didn’t show. Between the service and the overpriced, glorified cheese on toast we were incredibly disappointed by our experience and would not return. Edit: I returned to the cafe and spoke to the waiter and explained how I felt about the food. He gave me a refund.

   Lovely coffee shop, with great character. Impressive range of vegan options, including cakes. I had the parsnip (vegan) soup of the day, which was delicious. I also had the vegan millionaire shortbread, which was also great. Absolutely recommend!

   Highly recommended! I ordered an almond bakewell tart and a hot chocolate and was incredibly good. My partner got a sausage roll and was also very tasty. Nice place and friendly staff!

   Came here as was the only place open early on a Sunday. Had a full English breakfast which was nice enough. Beans were a bit yucky but other then that was a really nice breakfast.

   The Trading Post Coffee Roasters is a friendly and welcoming coffee house. The decor is atmospheric with seating at tables and comfy sofas. There is a wide selection of coffee bean to chose from and the coffee bean roaster is central to the atmosphere of the coffee house. There is a good selection of food with vegan and gluten free options. Try the gluten free Bakewell Slice a perfect partner for a Latte.

   A well presented cafe, Multiple coffee bean options also available to buy to take home with a service to grind if necessary. seasonal menu and a extensive variety of teas available. There were also numerous vegan treats.
