    Lovely little shop! Multiple sandwich combinations to choose from, which gets made fresh to order! Other nice little bits and bobs to buy inside too. (e.g salad items, along with some jars)

    Fantastic little sandwich shop. It is located in a beautiful old building. The sandwiches are made fresh when you order. There are other pastries cakes and small goods, fruit and vegetables. Also other items such as chocolate, pasta and drinks. The prawn cocktail sandwich was delicious. I added lettuce and tomato and requested focaccia.

    Superb deli and the friendliest people behind the counter - cannot fault the range on offer. If only there were more delis and sandwich places like this instead of soulless same-old chains. If you're in or going near Lewes, I strongly recommend you stop in.

    The food was fine but the lady serving was rude to both my partner and I (not sure how taking time to read an unfamiliar menu, make a choice and follow it with "can I have a bacon sandwich please" is "annoying" including for the customer who entered the shop later and therefore waited his turn, but learn something new).

    I have to admit that when I saw the other 5* reviews I did think it could not be that good... Well it is, really friendly customer service and I was ill and being a pain in the back side. Range and quality and knowledge of products was excellent, I ordered a sandwich for £3.25 with extra salad (as I was ill) really good Brown bread, tasted artisan. The ham was really nicely done. Salad was fresh.
