I love this place, I always come here with my friends. The food is great and the staff are really friendly. It doesn’t try to be aesthetic like the more expensive places but feels genuinely welcoming and comfortable. I definitely recommend.

One of the best and underated cafes in Brighton, lovely staff, food and drinks. With options to sit out front to be noisy, inside in the cutest cafe possible or in the back for a more relaxed time. This cafe is truly rustic without trying to be say like presuming eds. There is no expectation of who you should be when you walk in, just normal working people, who want to enjoy coffee without gentrified people!

Nice cafe with nice decor. Stopped here on our last morning before leaving Brighton and got a well deserved breakfast which set us up for the day. Nice coffee too and friendly staff. There's a range of everything you could want on the menu too.

The kind of place I'd usually walk past, but I came here with friends today and was pleasantly surprised! Friendly and fast service, good food and nice coffee. Very respectable prices as well. Will be back!

this charming little cafe is the perfect spot to meet up with friends and enjoy a delightful breakfast or brunch. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it an ideal place to relax and catch up. We opted for breakfast, and it was both filling and delicious. The menu offers a wonderful variety of options, from classic eggs and bacon to more adventurous avocado toast and jacket potatoes. Each dish was prepared with care, and the flavours were spot on. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere only added to our enjoyable experience. Whether you're looking for a hearty meal to start your day or a comfortable place to chat over coffee, this cafe is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for anyone in search of a great breakfast or brunch spot!

Staff are great, the food is really good and at a sensible price. Ticks all the boxes for us as a family. Definitely will be back soon.

The service was incredible! These guys kept the restaurant open for us as we had a group of 13 children on a school trip. They were very accommodating and friendly, having a joke with us and creating a brilliant atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the food, lots of options and portion sizes did not disappoint. Could not recommend enough, thank you Cosy Cottage!

Its clean , its covid ready but the food quality has gone downhill. Ir wasnt busy so we took a chance on breakfast. I opted for a non dairy version and when I asked if my egg could be swapped for avocado I was told no even though it's on a salmon dish as a 'healthy option instead i got an extra hash brown. The result was a 10 pound rip off and I will not be recommending this cafe even though its local. Shame .
