Great restaurant. Delicious food. The cheese parfait and pistachio-mango desert were amazing

Amazing place with a lovely team of staff who really make the experience warm and welcoming. The food looks absolutely stunning, beautifully presented and appetising. I tried the salmon tartare, which looked amazing, though the crostini was unfortunately very hard, possibly from being prepared too far in advance. The fish and chips also looked fantastic, with a crisp golden batter, but the fish lacked seasoning, just a touch would have lifted it. The chicken roast was a highlight, the gravy was phenomenal. The kale, however, would be easier to enjoy if cut into bite sized portions. The potatoes looked amazing with a nice crust, though again, some seasoning would have made them perfect. Overall, I still gave 5 stars because the experience was worth it, and I believe a few small improvements could take the food to the next level. Writing this in detail because I genuinely want to share helpful feedback, I’ll definitely be back!

Decided to have a drink in the bar as I was staying in the hotel and needed to kill some time. The bar is light and airy with ample seating at the bar itself, or at one of the tables. I chose a window seat on a sofa with an amazing novelty table. There was a choice of magazines on the table and made for a relaxing way to enjoy a quiet drink and read. Loved the modern decor. There were quite a few customers in the bar when I arrived, and a constant stream throughout my hour visit. Many were ordering cocktails and dining in.

Absolutely delicious food with beautiful presentation! The risotto was perfectly cooked, and the salmon was tender and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the entire dining experience highly recommend!"

Restaurant was a lot quieter than most in the area, which actually suited us (it's inside a hotel). The menu is limited and I was expecting more seafood options for a nautical themed restaurant. We ordered Tiger Prawns to share, only 3 pieces, suggest maybe giving 4 pieces and would be prepared to pay slightly more. We ordered two mains; fish & chips and a burger with fries. We enjoyed both meals. Fish & chips was slightly pricey though. The service was good and staff were attentive. Overall slightly pricier for what you get but we had a nice experience.

we went as a special occasion for the Christmas menu. But it was terrible. Starters were lovely, but the roast turkey dinner was beyond dispointing! It turned up to my table and at first I was convinced a plate of veg would follow, but no. The veg was actually on the same plate but because everything was black, I couldn't tell. Burnt food, tasteless and vile and potatoes soggy! It was only the Turkey which tasted nice, the rest was like eating charcoal without a crunch..... soggy charcoal. 12% tip on top took the mick too, it's embarrassing to ask to remove it and they know it!!

We came here on a bank holiday, and it is one of the two restaurants which were not full, so we got lucky and got a seat. The food was good in smaller portion (except for the cheese platter) and on the more expensive side, which were reasonable because it is by the sea and it’s a part of a hotel. The staff are polite and quick. We ordered a starter, 2 mains, 2 cocktails, and 2 dessert. Unfortunately there was a family with a screaming kid, so despite we paid a good amount of money, we still have to eat with constant screaming and crying. I saw the staff asked the parents if they can help with anything, the parents turned them down. But I think a better option is to offer them a separate room in the other side of the restaurant. The main reason for this 1 star review is when we pay our bill, they charged us euros, which makes no sense because that is a British account with enough GBP(we live in the UK , not tourists) and it charged us 9 pounds conversion fee. The staff explained it is done automatically and he doesn’t know why. We really don’t appreciate the lack of effort to resolve the issue. I understand error can happen from time to time, it is the staff’s effort in solving the issue that matters. In this case, there was none.

We had a good time ! The food was so fresh and tasty. The giant prawns were LUSHHH ! In the pic you only see two however they give you 3. They had a nice crunch to them and were so fresh. The sauce that came with it just tops it off ! I loved the lobster mac & cheese .. I didn’t even order it I tasted my boyfriend ... then it was mine, my boyfriends he only got a fork full lol. The cod was nice n crisp and the portion of chips was perfect as the food is really filling. The staff were amazing and drinks and food came in a reasonable time .. didn’t feel like we were sitting around at any point of the evening. The ambience was lovely very chilled and looked nice & neat, classy and obviously very clean. The prices were reasonable. Nice place to visit for a special occasion.
