   Atmosphere just ok…quiet. Food took a long time - there are similar reviews for this. Mexican rice was really bland and tacos with a choice of 3 toppings were just ok, not overtly exciting

   Not very good at all. 6x visitors. The good bits... food was plentiful, the place has character, some dishes are quite nice. The bad bits.... the service was underwhelming, and the burger was overcooked but also cold. The breadcrumb on the chicken and the jalapeño poppers was overdone and almost blackened. The steak nachos were very undercooked. The brie wedges were cold. It took 2 hours from start to finish. Way too many fries. Constants clatter of washing up, etc, as it's walked through the restaurant. Hopefully, it's just a blip, but there are plenty of better places to eat in the city, so I'm in no hurry to go back. £160 for 6 people inc drinks wasn't that cheap considering the quality

   The service was great, had a nice time. The ambiance of the place is quiet and nice for good for conversation with friends. The food is okay, not very tasty or well spiced. I had the tacos with Mayo, fries and some side sauce. It was a pleasant experience. Gave it a three star because I didn’t find the food very tasty or well spiced.

   Wow. Food was out of this world and Laura was very friendly. Best potato wedges I've ever eaten. The Mexican salsa, sour cream and guacamole were all fresh and delicious.

   We came for a work night out and sadly was a bit disappointed. The food was pretty poor. The nachos were nice but that's pretty much where it ended. The prawn starter was ridiculous. 4 teeny tiny little prawns!! The mains weren't great either. The burgers were super dry and tasteless. Cocktails were very watery, or if you had a margarita they were sooo salty as they salt the rim of the glass and it just melts into the drink. Overall not a great experience. Won't be back in a hurry.

   Had a great experience here after hoping in for lunch on a whim. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was ideal; warm, friendly and lively with an excellent music playlist! Our server Karly was incredible - they had an unexpected busy period and she was the only one working the floor. She remained completely professional and provided excellent customer service despite the fact she was extremely busy! I've never seen a server work so hard, and yet she was still smiling and still had time to chat to all the customers. Very impressed and will definitely return.

   Went on a date with my boyfriend, he'd been 2 weeks previous with friends and said it was lovely so decided to take me, but quite frankly they let him down! Our main took 2 hours to arrive from when we got there. My burger was quite bland and nothing special but my boyfriends meal was nice. The only real positive was the tasty drinks! I would recommend the Blue Shark cocktail.

   Exemplary at every level, we were a party of 40 for a works Xmas party. Meals were ordered in advance and Nat, Carly, Laura and the team were so organised and professional it was smooth sailing all-the way. The food came out piping hot and was delicious. Portions are generous and dietary requirements are well catered for. Nothing was too much trouble for these ladies and they were helpful and smiling all night. Thank you so much Mambo Jambo for a brilliant night. We will recommend you to everyone

   Can’t rate highly enough! We had a party of 30 people for my daughter’s 18th. They were well organised, decorated and made the birthday girl feel special. We booked meals in advance and everything ran like a dream (despite adding a few extra guests last minute!). I would happily recommend it to anyone! It’s Mexican come American style style food - loads of choice for all dietary requirements and huge portions! The staff were helpful and attentive throughout. Thanks for a great night Mambo Jambos!

   Food was lovely! Staff where super kind and understanding however we waited 2 hours for our starters and an extra 30 minutes for our mains. All the staff are lovely and great but they just need a few more to fill in the gaps and speed up service!
