   I firmly believe that when you go out to eat in a restaurant you expect good quality food and good service. Whilst I can appreciate they were shortstaffed, the food was not good. The vegetables were overcooked, the meat cold. Luckily the gravy was hot which gave the impression the food was too Th desert was less than desirable Our waitress was charming and did her best but the whole experience was negative

   Booked a ‘heated’ pod for my husbands birthday. The heater was insufficient - we were freezing. Please upgrade your heaters!! Eating in coats and blankets somewhat spoiled the atmosphere. Food was ok although on the smaller side given the price point. My £35 steak came with around 12 chips & half a (small) pot of £3 peppercorn sauce. Plus some lettuce leaves to fill the plate. My husband ordered braised ox cheeks at £26 and left hungry. Son’s pizza was probably the best value as it was the most filling. Food was nice just not enough of it! Also, they tried to charge us £15 for our Hugo spritz & not the £13 they’re priced as on the menu! So check your bill to make sure you’re not being overcharged. Staff were lovely, so can’t fault them.

   Raven was our server, he lovely, prompt and attentive. The food was delicious, the lamb especially was the highlight of the night. We also recommend the bread with the Miso butter. We had a lovely time definitely recommend.

   We visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening for dinner service. Our lovely server (sorry to did not get her name) is an asset to your team, very friendly and happy to help. The server ensured we were well looked after with food and drinks. The venue its self it very classy but with comfy homely vibe all in one. We enjoyed all courses of our dinner from starters, mains. Thank you for having us, will surely visit again next we visit Brighton.

   Really lovely meal - special celebration for us so we had the works. The food is fabulous quality, the service is exceptional, the drinks menu choices are vast and brilliant; including huge gin selection, wine selection and cocktails, also alcohol free choices of mocktails and more. You can taste the freshness of all the food, it really makes a difference. Our server Freddie was the perfect balance of attentive. When they heard we were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary they made a little fuss (see photo) which was so lovely and welcome. We were treated so well, literally faultless ❤️

   Food is unreal...I love something as simple as a roast potato cooked so impressively. We had an igloo before the theatre so it's a wonderful way to do pre drinks and snacks with my Ladies. Staff are brilliant too, definitely some of Brighton's finest.

   Had a lovely time here with my girl! Great service from Vittorio, very tasty food and drinks... Had a killer bloody mary! It was a fantastic brunch in their beautiful outdoor seating. It's a little jewel buried in the middle of the lanes, found it by coincidence but for sure I'll come back.

   Great atmosphere. The food is okay. Not the best but good enough to warrant the price you pay. The atmosphere definitely surpasses the food. Worth experiencing. Their ice cream is really good though.

   A beautiful restaurant and delicious food! We decided to sit inside as it was late on a Saturday night but during the day the outside space would definitely be a nice option! As a vegetarian I would have liked more options on the menu but the burger was still amazing. Our waitress was lovely and it was all round a great night!
