Very polite, courteous and professional customer care from James in the Eastbourne store. Great selection of shoes so given good advice on what to buy.

Excellent service! I was assisted by Emma, who was clearly knowledgeable about both the shoes and also foot health/issues. She took time to understand my objectives, identified a number of suitable shoes and ensure the perfect fit. I bought two pairs. Having visited a number of shoe shops recently, my experience in Skechers was the best by a considerable distance. I will be using them regularly from now on.
Sketchers shoes are well known for being as comfortable as sleepers :) this branch is clean, with a good choice of shoes, for both men and women. Customer service is always welcoming and they always advise you if extra attention required. I have been shopping there a couple of times already and will definitely go back :)
I like brand Sketchers, shoes are very comfortable and light, trainers with memory foam which is great. In the shop you can chose between many types of shoes. Shop assistants are very helpful and polite.
Having managed footware outlets in the past I must say the experience I had today was exceptional, the assistant who dealt with me was Laura who showed all the correct procedures when dealing with a customer. Firstly approached to ensure I was acknowledged as a customer. Secondly identified my requirements and answered the relevant questions with knowledgeable answers and showcased the suitable products. Thirdly made me aware of any loyalty program in place on completion of sale. The only disappointing factor is I have no way to contact head office directly to make them aware of an exceptional team member they have.
I have a high arches and have bought many sketchers shoes over the years. We booked a holiday and I wanted some sandles rather than trainers. Imagine my surprise when I was unable to walk after just one wear! The elastic over the top of my sandles had stretched and meant that I had absolutely no arch support. I read my receipt and misunderstood the terms. I took my ill fitting, sub standard sandles to the Eastbourne Sketchers to see if they would allow me to exchange my sandles for something more supportive. The lady who 'served' me was rude beyond belief. She implied that it was my fault to have bought the sandles and that I should have known that my foot would slide in the sandles and cause me extreme pain. She didn't want me in her shop and said that I should return the sandles to the Brighton shop. This is a 2 hour trip and unacceptable, she wouldn't budge. I have since found out that the Eastbourne store is a franchise and doesn't honour the sketchers terms! I called head office, they said that they would contact Eastbourne and ask them to contact me it arrange an alternative sandle. I had to call again as nobody called me back. I was assured that I would receive a call, but I was lied to. To date I am still waiting. I have a pair of sandles that are completely useless. NEVER buy sandles from sketchers in Eastbourne, customer service is non existent!
