A lovely cosy vintage tea rooms with an atmosphere to match the breakfast . 2 breakfast cooked just as we asked and the coffee and chai latte were just as good. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend . Cake looked lovely but will have to save that for next time as we were too full.

This is such a wonderful tea room. The food is delicious and the homemade cheesecake...wow! The breakfast's are big and all gorgeous local products. The staff and service is fab and very friendly. I can't recommend the tea room highly enough.

What a lovely nook to grab a cream tea and bathe in the quirky historic ambience on offer here! Great scone and fine cup of tea delivered with lovely service in a unique environment; small independent shops full of knick-knacks, a tarot reader, and one of the the smallest buildings I've ever been in, a 15th century delight with beams and bags of character. There is even a separate room if you have a dog!! A lovely surprise that I will definitely revisit!

Lovely cute place, bigger than you'd think inside. The food was overall nice except for the bacon which was too salty for us to eat. Mocha was lovely and a good size. A little on the pricey side.

Great lunch spot! The food was delicious, served in a timely manner and the staff were extremely attentive. Moreover, it is surrounded by lots of small businesses and it was nice to have a wander and make a few purchases. I can't wait to go back.

Our experience was a bit mixed. We had to wait a LONG time for food but they were very busy. I think it would have been good if we had been offered a top up of the teapot to keep us going - especially as we were out in the tent and it was a bit chilly. However, the food was tasty and I expect on a quieter day the experience would have been better.

Delightful setting for this snug little café. Excellent coffee and amazing cakes, with generous slices at reasonable prices and the best cream scone we've had outside of Devon! Very busy for the over-worked staff running around, but we weren't in a hurry and was well worth the half-hour wait to get our cakes.

What a gem of a place! Found this while hiking the South Downs Way and couldn't have been happier. Staff were super friendly and helpful, food was delicious and the portions huge! Highly recommended!

Got here 20 minutes before closing. So we both had cake and cappuccino. I had the lemon drizzle. Nice size slice and very very tasty. My cappuccino was perfect. The lady that served us was nice and jolly too. I did ask about the buildings history and she told me what she could. Shame I can only give it 5 stars. Great place . Will visit again
