rudest staff i’ve ever encountered, swore at my friends after they used the loo before buying a drink

Worst customer service my group has ever experienced. We are new to the neighbourhood and wanted to get acquainted. Attempted to join the pub quiz and got met with humiliating and extremely rude remarks from the woman behind the bar as we didn’t immediately order a drink at entry. Left straight afterwards, will not be returning, do not recommend, absolutely disgusting atmosphere.

Best traditional pub in b’ton. If traditional is your thing you’ll be in your element here. Warm shag-pile, and real ayles. Pls never change it!!

Really need to sort out the bar staff. Old blonde or white hair woman always miserable. Always rude. Doesn't like what you put on jukebox only wants what she likes. Killed my mental health suffering daughters confidence by saying rude comments about her singing and music. Me and my daughter have had to quit darts cause of this. Absolutely disgusted.

Undercover outdoor seating area, could do with a spruce up though. Pavement seating area. Quite sweet inside. A cask ale tap. Friendly landlord and lady.

Great little pub. There was a music quiz night for free that involved everyone tonight

Rude staff and expensive drinks. The pub quiz on the Monday was dry, flat and boring. Never been in a more miserable looking pub which is a shame as they have a “Save Our Local” sticker on their door..if they keep being rude and unwelcoming to their punters I’m not sure how long they’ll stay open for! It’s clear their staff and their manager doesn’t give a flying **** about a warm pub atmosphere. Shame.
