Nice Locals pub we popped into for a couple games of Pool. Staff were friendly and dogs are welcome. Will be visiting again on our next visit to Brighton.

Popped in Saturday late evening 28 September, very welcoming, friendly landlord, staff and regulars, from out of town but made to feel very welcome. Excellent pint, if nearby pop in, you won't be disappointed!

Flipping brilliant. Went here recently for my Nans birthday, group if 25 or so (4 generations) for food and drinks. Firstly the food, amazing. Can't fault anything that was on offer. Had a mixed roast and all good. Everyone commented on hot food which can be an issue with large group orders. Staff were fantastic, always nearby and happy to check if they can assist with anything. Sports on TV, dart board etc. Locals / regulars in the bar joined in with Darts and friendly / welcoming. More than happy to give this place my recommendation.

Very friendly, decent prices. Bar staff excellent... even went to the faff of getting the big screen down for the football just for me as I don't see/hear so well

Must be one of the last pubs of its type. One very good barman, who remembers what you are drinking, watches when you want another, and does the same for thirty people. In the heart of Brighton proper. The Pride was off when I visited but the Strongbow was good. I no longer live in Brighton but it would make a terrific local if I did. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Probably the cheapest in Brighton. I'm told the roasts are good on Sunday too. Clean, good sized residential street pub. Use it or lose it.
