Had a great Christmas meal here last week. Succulent turkey, crispy roast potatoes, rich gravy, firm sprouts. Hot plates so the food retained its heat. Pudding was also excellent (berry crumble). Really good staff as well.
Lovely venue. Big for groups and also has some smaller areas for more seclusion. Great staff and lovely food.

We had a lovely chilled lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon. The food was great, I highly recommend the super food salad, which in a lot of places is a bit dull, but this was an amazing mix! The girl working was really helpful and happy to check allergens with the kitchen.
Lovely cosy pub, very busy but still felt intimate. Good food, we stopped for a roast and was not disappointed. Free range pork belly with grate crackling, we added a bacon maple stuffing that was epic. Really nice to see free range pork on a menu and seems the chefs go to good effort to find quality meat from local suppliers
Just OK. Had a Sunday roast (beef), which was passable and reasonable value for money. The organic ale was awful and their choice of beers somewhat limited. Big pub, so definitely recommend as a place to meet up with large groups. Kid friendly in the day too.
Had great meal, we sat inside but gardens are lovely, partly booths, some with heaters and string lights around. Dog friendly inside and out.
I really like The Open House, it’s a very modern and youthful pub. It has an amazing big garden and a wide range of food on the menu. The portions were large and not pricey at all compared to other places. The open house is a hidden gem and wish more people knew about it! There’s also a sign that forbids kids under 18 in the pub that me and my friends found very amusing!
