Loads of items off menu were unavailable. Gluten Free options were dire. Food was pretty lame when it eventually turned up . Staff however were really friendly , helpful but seemed up against it all night . Definatley won't be going back for food. A drink maybe . But to be fair there are loads of better pubs in Brighton .

Quirky pub with a fabulous atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff and the food is amazing. Definitely recommend the beef and ale pie and if your into sea food. The soft shell crab burger is out of this world. Leo behind the bar is just delightful. And allergy aware.... a must visit if youre in brighton. Great value for money.

I came in here with reasonably low expectations. I mean, it’s a pub.. can’t be that good, right? WRONG!!! I ordered a Korean chicken burger and it was PHENOMENAL!! The chips and thenBBQ sauce were extremely good. One thing is that it doesn’t say the full list of ingredients on the menu. It came with mayonnaise which I’m not a huge fan of, it maddd it taste better though. Anyway, if you want a pub with good food.. COME HERE !!!

Food was great and the staff was friendly. I went for the Mac and cheese (with a side of salad) and it was perfect. The vegetarian chilli (which my sister ordered) was really tasty too. It's the perfect place if you're looking for an OG pub experience. The only downside would be the waiting time for the food to be served.

I loved this oldish looking haunted pub just outside of busy shopping streets of Brighton, on the way to the beach and Brighton Pier. Great place to visit for a drink or two. Didn’t have any food there, so cannot really recommend it for a meal. But the atmosphere inside was really nice.

Excellent pub, lots of history!!! My only gumble is that when I ask for no pea, I still got them and they thought it was funny. But still an excellent pub with excellent food

Lovely little pub in a great spot.. although small inside there is lots of seating, as well as seating outside. Good selection of draught and bottles. Being a greene king the menu is good and the food looks really nice. Staff were all friendly. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

A cute little English pub, get a classic English meal with sausages and mash and enjoy with apple cider and mulled wine on a cold fall/winter afternoon. Sit outside on a rare sunny day, and you would still enjoy.

Service was friendly and they always accommodated requests without any attitude. The portions are quite big and generous. Can’t comment on the drinks but atmosphere was lovely for a lunch in Brighton.
