   This review is about 3 years late. But stupidly, I rested my car key in the hinge of my car and closed the boot, bending it. No one could fix it or bend it back, and no one wanted even to try. I came here, and they tried and succeeded in getting it to work and gave me some graphite dust to help. Long story short, they saved me a lot of money and only charged for the dust, which was around £1 when they could have easily overcharged me, given I was desperate. I always appreciated this, and we should support businesses like this.

   Been going here for years since it was called pennywise before. This is one of those gem of a shops that stock things you won't find elsewhere. Great prices and known the owner and staff for years. I affectionately call it the crazy shop only because if I'm looking for something obscure they more often than not had it. They even helped me out when I got locked out for free once. Well deserved 5 stars.

   We were working locally today and ran out of a few items. We stumbled across this hardware store and were so glad that we did. Friendly staff and had a variety of items needed to finish our job. Great value and staff who knew what they were talking about. Another little gem to add to the list of easy shops to use in Brighton. Thanks again Nick Simmonds

   This shop has everything you need. The staff are always extremely helpful, the stock is good quality and they will also help you troubleshoot and solve issues you have. Not like with B&Q where it's 50/50 chance of the staff member understanding what you're talking about.

   I found the one thing they don't stock! - sewing machine needles... I marked this day as it was a rare one indeed. They've never let me down before and can always locate that odd little screw that can (unusually) be bought in singles. Love this shop and the incredibly helpful staff. I'm sure I'll continue to visit even when I am no longer local. I hope it goes on forever...
