The lady behind the till with a white top on was blowing bubbles and chewing gum In front of customers faces. Very unprofessional and rude !!
I used to use this shop a few days a week. That was until one of their employees snatched money out my hand, unreal, I understand they get shop lifters, but don't take it out on paying customers. Will not be going back. Other shops in the area are cheaper.
Used to be great in Budgens now just like any other average small supermarket
Their milk and cheese always have gone off. Not going to uses the shop for anything like that. Probably food is left out in cages for too long then goes into the fridge where all has gone off. I’ll probably still buy some stuff there but 100 percent will stay anyway from their milk, cheeses and humus etc. sad really doesn’t take much to keep fridges in good condition or the food kept out on cages for too long after the delivery.
Really good selection of food ranges for a small shop it is always spotless and not overcrowded in design so plenty of space between the shelves the staff are very friendly and helpful - my go to place when I run short of something
Usually 5⭐but this was very annoying & inconvenient! Wanted to redeem my electric voucher from the council using the PayPoint facility that is offered at this establishment. However, after trying and failing a few times then told me me they didn't take cancel vouchers even though it only takes 5 simple steps to follow. If they can't provide a full PayPoint service then they shouldn't be agents.
Prices are a bit high but the female staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Staff like this are worth their weight in gold and deserve more pay.
