We stay here multiple times a year as the service and facilities are faultless. Staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable and in the unlikely event there is an issue it is dealt with quickly. Rooms are always spotless and beds are comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and there is something for everyone. Ideally located near the station where everything is walkable or a short bus ride away. We would highly recommend staying here.

I have used this hotel a few times now and love the location. Being close to the station means not having to rush when heading back. The town centre, lanes and the beach are all a few minutes walk away. Also has good bus connections. Beds are comfortable. I don’t normally have breakfast but tried this time round and unfortunately it was a let down. There are lots of places to eat around so not an issue.

Our stay was unacceptable from start to finish. Before we even arrived, friends staying in neighbouring rooms were met with human faeces in a toilet and blood on bedsheets. Due to the shocking lack of cleanliness, we seriously considered cancelling our stay altogether. When we arrived at our own room, the window was already wide open and would not lock, leaving the room freezing cold. We informed a member of staff on the floor, who said someone would be sent to fix it or move us, but nothing was done. The window remained open for our entire stay. The day after our visit, we were randomly charged £200 with no prior communication from the hotel or Booking.com. When we called to question this, we were told the charge was allegedly for “window damage” caused by us, something we categorically deny. We were barely in the hotel and did not cause any damage. Worse still, a team leader admitted the charge was made purely on an assumption, with no evidence or investigation. Taking £200 from guests without warning, proof, or discussion, especially just before Christmas during a cost-of-living crisis, completely unacceptable. After speaking with Booking.com, we were told only a £50 damage fee was agreed between them and the hotel initially (although still wrong) further proving that Ibis had purposely scammed us out of £200. Poor hygiene, unresolved maintenance issues, and unjustified charges based on assumptions make this one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

We like staying in this Ibis, it’s so convenient for the station and not a long walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Rooms are just perfectly fine, they’re clean, bed is comfy, there is a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. As an Accor member you get points for your stay and if you have a status, they give you a room on the upper floors. This is where we prefer to stay whilst in Brighton.

A perfect experience- a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. My room request was entirely satisfied and I had a great room- spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. I enjoyed a drink in the bar and felt very well looked after by the whole team throughout my stay.

This is pretty great for the price. Rooms clean and a good bed. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast the right side of fair. Recommend and will return. One slight moan, the bathroom is cold with no hot rails or anything similar, so your cold wet towel is cold and wet pretty much the entire time you're there.

The location of this hotel was great - so close to the station and the waterfront, it was an ideal spot especially for a quick one night stay. The bed was comfy and there was enough space to get about easily. Staff are friendly and welcoming. My main issue was the paper-thin walls, where I could nearly make out whole conversations that were happening in rooms next to me. This made for lots of noise at night and in the morning.

Very close to Brighton and reasonable walking distance to town, sea and pier. Hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. Reception team were brilliant. Was on a quiet floor so high up and couldn't hear the traffic below as facing town centre. Good price and although only stayed overnight was a lovely experience.

I enjoyed my stay in Ibis and if it wasn’t for the price I’d have stayed even longer. The only downside that I felt was that the chairs in the rooms were too uncomfortable to sit for a few hours. I had to work on some documents and the chairs were incredibly painful. I am grateful to the staff here because over a year ago I had an anxiety episode in their lobby and they were really helpful and allowed me to use the toilet and were very patient. Such a basic but incredible gesture is hard to find these days. I felt so grateful that I wanted to stay here on my next trip. The breakfast was incredibly worth it and tasty and he bed was really comfy.

Had a great stay at Ibis hotel. In case you have to commute, the train station is 2 minutes away. The rooms are modest looking, but everything was well kept and clean. The room was clean daily and fresh towels were supplied -- everything was tidy and spotless after the cleaning, so really headsup to the cleaning staff. The front desk staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious. Overall, great value for your money and a cozy place for shorter stays.
