   The room size was good and it was quite comfortable for 3 people. There wes basic tea and coffee kit in the room. Our room offered views of the road but it wasn't busy. Hot buffet breakfast is available by additional payment.

   Where do I start. Charley and the staff are first class so friendly and welcoming. The food is A++++ the rooms are spacious, beds are really comfortable and very clean. Plenty of hot water for the showers. That's why I keep coming back Update- new menu is great, ham hock pie all the way!

   Stayed here on our UK trip from Australia. Enjoyed staying here it was reasonably priced and good value for money. Short trips to see places of interest. Food was good especially the breakfast. Stairs were a bit of a pain but one of the lovely staff members offered to take our luggage up for us. Overall very pleasing.

   The room was very dark and "dingy" with a poor atmosphere. Covers on bed were very scratchy and uncomfortable. The view was of what appeared to be council flats... also there was a loud fan / boiler type noise all night long and being next to a main road meant any traffic passing would wake me also. The staff were nice enough, but I can't recommend staying here unfortunately.

   The place is so affordable and in such a convenient location. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. Comfy beds and beautiful view out over the water. Charley was especially welcoming. It was lovely coming down for breakfast each morning and the housekeeping in the hotel was lovely

   The service was phenomenal and the restaraunt was amazing. They really made us feel welcome there. Our room however was pretty lackluster. We booked far in advance and ended up getting a room not facing the river which was a little disappointing but not a deal breaker. The room itself looked really run down with scratches and marks all over the walls and dirt smudges on the curtains. The shower would frequently go cold then turn scalding hot which burnt our skin. Some drunk men tried to get into our room too which was a little scary and nobody answered the hotel phone when it happened during the afternoon. the bed was rock hard, not the luxury mattress advertised on the website. Overall the restaraunt and staff service was impeccable but the actual room was not pleasant to stay in. Also tip for tourists because this information doesn't seem to be readily available on search engines, but this town doesn’t seem to have Uber. They have another taxi service called abc taxi that kind of works like uber but is far less reliable especially in the evening so getting back to the hotel can be a challenge. Also the nearest bus stop was a 20 min walk away according to google.

   Just a one night stay here, and first time at an Inkeepers Collection, and first impressions are a little tired looking outside with scaffold all around. This does impact your view from your room as well. We had room 11 which overlooks the river, through the scaffold bars. The room itself, despite needing some TLC on the paintwork was perfectly fine. Quite small but not a problem. Clean modern bathroom and comfy bed. There looked like a staffing issue in the pub as the menu was limited but as we didn't eat there, so I can't say. Overall we'd go back, if only for 1 night at a time

   Haven't used the rooms but the food is good and the service is exceptional. We were served by a lovely chap who was a credit to the buisness. Didn't get his name but went out of his way to provide the best possible. Really like this place. Lovely location overlooking the river

   Room was very clean and welcoming. The view across the river was fantastic. All the staff that work during our stay were friendly and polite. Breakfast and all the food we had was to a high standard. Really recommend the dirty clicker burger.

   Staff were friendly and the room was clean. In general the hotel looked shabby and in need of refurbishment. The breakfast was terrible. No cereal, no continental, no juices - had to go to the bar to get some and tried to charge my brother. Also no mugs near tea and coffee, had to go to bar again. No plates and to cap it all the food was tasteless. Very poor. Very expensive for what it was.
