The campsite is in a lovely location by the river, with boats and paddle boards to use. Great campfiretoo. The kids had a great time. Shame about the facilities that were disgustingly filthy, no hot water to wash up in, shower was filthy. The toilet was useable until the hornets nest took over it which the owner was aware of and done nothing about. Been to cleaner campsite with better facilities for a cheaper price. Not worth the price charged. It's a real shame the owner is rude and obnoxious because then I probably wouldn't have left a review at all and just wouldn't have returned.

I stayed at this campsite for a full week around 2 weeks ago and was surprised to see a couple of negative reviews focused on the facilities. I just wanted to clear a few things up and give a fair review. There are two toilets and a shower, all with hot water. While the sinks for washing dishes don’t have hot water, we simply filled a pan from the hot tap in the toilet sink (just a couple of metres away) and used that—hardly an inconvenience, especially when camping. The campsite itself is in a beautiful riverside location, with canoes and paddle boards available so you can really make the most of the setting. We paddle-boarded to the pub about an hour upstream and to an old mill about an hour downstream—both trips I’d definitely recommend. The campsite owner is a lovely chap who really can’t do enough for you. He even set up a campfire for us and kindly let us borrow the BBQ on several occasions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. All in all, a fantastic spot if you enjoy a relaxed camping experience in a beautiful setting with a genuinely welcoming host.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Family Weekend – Highly Recommended! We just got back from an incredible weekend at this campsite and I can honestly say it deserves every one of these 5 stars. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-kept and thoughtfully designed everything was. The facilities were top-notch – spotless toilets and showers, with plenty of hot water available at all times, which made the stay extra comfortable. The pitch sizes were generous, giving us plenty of space to relax and enjoy without feeling crowded. One of the real highlights was the water equipment on site – perfect for the kids (and adults!) to have a bit of fun and cool off. The BBQ and fire facilities were amazing too – well set up, easy to use, and a great addition to the evenings. A special mention has to go to Damion, the owner, who honestly couldn’t do enough for us. He was friendly, welcoming, and always around to help with anything we needed – it’s clear he takes real pride in the place. If you’re looking for a well-equipped, family-friendly campsite with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, look no further. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Stayed the weekend at this hidden gem of a campsite. All pitches were good sizes with stunning views. There is a communal bbq area all free to use, a lovely fire pit area for the evening where everyone came down to sit. We had access to paddleboards and canoes all included in our price which was really good. The shower and toilets were kept clean and tidy. In the evening when the sun went down all the night lights came on making the place even more appealing. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back ♥️

Stayed overnight with family this weekend, Damien was very accommodating. He was welcoming, always up for a chat and could not fault his hospitality. Toilet and showering facilities were clean. BBQ facilities were available to use on site, and a lovely campfire for the evening. Paddleboards, canoes, kayaks and a pedalo were free to use, which meant we could all enjoy a cruise down the river to The Swan pub as a family! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Had a great time here, close to the river and plenty to do. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a very peaceful place and we enjoyed it very much, I expect we will go again, I also noticed it was a member of caravan and camping club. A very good place to go.

After spending 2 glorious nights here we will definitely be returning. We stayed in the Moroccan yurt and it was magical. The site is so clean and set on the most beautiful river. The owners Mandy and Damien are amazing! They were so welcoming and helpful, they made or stay even better. We can't wait to be sitting around your awesome firepit again. This campsite is everything camping should be!

My daughter and I stayed for a night here as a cycle/camping trip out of Norwich. It's such a friendly and welcoming place. We loved swimming in the river, playing on the swing, seeing the ducks (including meeting Pingu!) and sitting by the firepit toasting marshmallows. It's an easy cycle from Norwich yet feels like a wonderful escape. We'll be back!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience on this absolutely beautiful campsite. The setting is idylic and the family are the most gorgeous people you could meet. They helped us out when our van wouldn't start, multiple times, gave us fantastic recommendations and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. It really made our stay in Norfolk a stand out experience. And we absolutely loved the quirkiness and unique character of the site.10 stars from us!

Beautiful camping site. Access to cooking space and a kayak on the river. Gorgeous. Hosts were fab. Wonderful time. Well worth the visit. If you're lucky the swans may come pay you a visit in the morning.
