Five of us on a cycling trip to Newhaven stopped here for brunch. What a find! Really good service and excellent fried breakfast - just what we needed on a cold wet day.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a lovely café! The coffee was rich and flavorful, perfectly brewed to start the day right. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great morning.
The breakfast was okay, but it left me a bit disappointed. The main issue was the chips. They weren’t golden or crispy and seemed a bit old, which really took away from the meal. I’ve attached a picture of a cafe I used to frequent before moving to Uckfield, just for comparison. You can really see the difference in the quality of the chips there, fresh, golden, and much more appetizing. Also, I only go 1 and a half bacon. I'll go back again just in case they had a bad day.

Nice polite service, but probably could’ve done with more than one member of staff waiting on tables, as it is a lot for just one. The menu is unfortunately littered with typos and overall a bit overwhelming and confusing. Prices are very reasonable, the food is well-portioned and tasty. Nice hot coffee, my mocha was delicious.
Good solid cafe fare, reasonably priced Lovely and clean, as were 'the facilities' (no steps to loos). Service prompt and staff welcoming. Always a good option when in Uckfield

Went for a meal while I was in town for a few hours. Their gourmet burgers really are amazing. Really tender despite the 6oz size patties, and lots of flavour. Their menu has lots of options, and the staff were really nice. The chef in particular was really friendly.
Been here several times, the food is top notch and reasonably priced. Lovely little caff, polite and attentive staff.
