I took my cat as a boarder for a week to this cattery. She was well looked after and came home happy. Purring. I will put her in here again if and when I go away on hols.

We ended up having to home our cats at Ferara for nearly 8 weeks due to a relocation and an extended conveyancing process. Jane was extremely welcoming and allowed us to drop our cats off quite late at night, being completely understanding of the long and stressful day we had. It was such a relief when dropping them off to see that they would be staying in the clean and well maintained boarding pens. I am not sure what some of the other reviewers experienced but there was no smell and everything was pristine. Our cats were wonderfully calm when we collected them after all that time with no signs of distress. It is unfortunate that others seem to have had a bad experience and never nice to hear about distressed animals of course, but we did not experience anything near what some of the lower rated reviews. It is difficult to imagine given the cleanliness of the facilities and Jane's caring demeanour. Thank you very much, Jane.

Have used Ferara for years Boarded my cat for 6 weeks this Jan/Feb. As always we are totally happy because we know our cat is well looked after with daily attention. He always comes back content and calm. Would thoroughly recommend.

This was our first time at Ferara and it will definitely be our last. We have been using catteries for 30 years and this is undoubtedly the worst. Our cat boarded for 12 days and when we collected her she was extremely distressed and hiding behind her carry box. We were not taken through to the pens when we dropped her off but were on collection. The smell of urine was totally overwhelming. Our poor cat is totally traumatised. I wouldn't recommend taking your beloved pet here.

I can not rate Jane or her cattery high enough. We had an unusual request as our cats required long time boarding as we had flown them over from Australia. Jane and her team were extremely accommodating and nothing was ever too much trouble and we were allowed to visit them anytime. I would happily send any of my cats there again and thank you again Jane and Fred for looking after them when we could not. Forever grateful.

Not the greatest cattery. The pen had no outside area and little natural light. One of our cats was in a state of distress for several days afterwards, whereas she's been fine following staying at a different local cattery.

My cat is always happy here, so much so I wasn’t sure he wanted to come home. He is obviously well looked after and has no anxiety or clinginess when he gets home.

The owner Jane got me out of a tight spot when my usual cattery had to cancel my reservation the date before my holiday due to Covid, by having a free pen for my two cats. £13.50 a day was cheaper than I normally pay, so good value. Only a ten minute journey from my house in Norwich which was a bonus. House is in a quiet rural location with good security and easy to locate.

Our cattery of choice. We have 2 siamese cats, both typical to breed and one who is very "stressy". They always come back relaxed and calm after a stay, I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Highly recommended.
