The only thing that was good about the Kebab was the the salad. The meat was cold, dry and tasteless as well as the pitta break, if you can call it that.
Fish was deep fried for less than 4 minutes so was cold in the middle and hot on the outside which made me sick. Chips were pre cooked before my order so double fried. Salad has been sitting in marinade dressing for a long time so tasted vinegary. Fish I don't believe was cod, more likely Pollock or coley, cod is £25 a kilo, coley and Pollock is £5 a kilo so a very cheap alternative. Fish size was a small and not a large as stated so less than half large size. Cost was £10.50 which is the most expensive fish and chip shop in southampton. My rating 1 ⭐, it's clear this takeaway serves food for a quick turn around as opposed to quality, the standards are very low for what I would expect.
I always come here after work, the workers are fantastic, food is the best I’ve found in Southampton with affordable prices. Fantastic place!

I had to wait nearly 10 mins for food from this place, just to be served rock hard fish and chips that really disappointed me. Staff also dumped ketchup all over that leaked from box when I said just on chips, only good things are it is easy to find and the options are clear.
Lovely place to eat out after a night out honestly! I miss old JJ however the new staff are ridiculously attractive, just what you need to end the night!!
Lovely place to eat at, service was good and food tasted amazing. always enjoy having a laugh with the workers whilst I’m there, good energy all around would recommend 10/10
Went after a night out and ordered food, sat waiting and then when I asked about my food they said they’re not making it unless they see my receipt which they didn’t give me. So they took my money then refused to make my food, then proceeded to threaten me outside because I did laugh at them due to them working at a kebab shop and being sad enough to rob me of a tenner. Also the lad with the little quiff and the other little girl with the curly hair you’re both rats and you’re going to work at the kebab shop the rest of your life and you hid from me inside, rats the both of you.
Always loved JJ's, would not go anywhere else for chips. I miss chatting with JJ, but the new guys are decent sorts and the food's still good!
Horrible. Worst kebab I have ever had in my entire life. Kebabs are old, they taste weird and top of that . Bad customer service and pricey for what they offer
