   Had the Christmas menu, 3 courses for £30 which is a good price. Unfortunately the portions were very small and not enough veg is served. With a turkey Christmas dinner you expect sprouts/cauliflower cheese but only had a few carrots, red cabbage and some swede serviced in a small dish between 3 of us. You used to get more than this a few years ago so we were disappointed.

   Had a nice meal there . Food was good , served by a young male first half of meal very good service , then a female manager took over we then waited 25 minutes with out any attention eventually I had to get up to get any attention but instead of coming to see what I wanted just bought the bill 1, missing out on 2 puddings and 2 coffees £35. 2, just wanted us and others out so they could shut , spoiled a nice meal , POOR SERVICE

   This was a truly enjoyable experience, the food was so good! Fresh vegetables, well cooked and flavourful, not defrosted, tasteless mulch. The fish pie again, homemade and delicious, also the steak pie, clearly homemade, very tasty and huge! The service was exceptional, very friendly and attentive. The chef clearly cares about the food he sends out and it really shows! Will definitely be back. And of course the location is fab, watching the ships come and go on the Southampton water is a bonus.

   Seashells is a real favourite. We booked view of the pier and shore for 6 adults. The specials were impressive. Great staff, well trained and attentive. The steak pie was excellent and my friend loved his fish pie. All served with chips if you want. Their coffee is great. The Baguettes are yummy.

   We stumbled across this place during a visit to the area. Up the stairs to an open bar area, with dining at the back. Views across the water and a smoking veranda. The staff are friendly and attentive. A small but well put together menu. The food was out promptly and was to a very reasonable standard. The beef burger could have done with a touch more seasoning, but we had no complaints. All round a nice experience. We would definitely come back.

   What a lovely Christmas dinner ! The gravy was especially delicious and it was one of the best Christmas meals I have had . The staff were so helpful and friendly and they were happy to adapt the menu for my problematic tooth , meaning I had trouble with anything crunchy !

   Value for money certainly not, quality of food standard poor, even the chips mostly tiny bits of chips for £8.95 would have expected more, The glass still had lip marks round the rim of glass so not even clean! The chair was in a bad state obviously broken by someone heavy. I had to go and get a outside cushion to put on chair to sit on, I have been to all the cafes,restaurants in Hythe this has to the worse one! It's only the view across solent that was the best part of the restaurant. Can honestly say won't be returning more better cafes and restaurants close by. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

   Overlooking Southampton Water towards Western, this first floor restaurant is a good place to eat, drink and look across the water with passing shipping. The food is good with no complaints. Plentiful seating in and, an outside terrace also. Staff are friendly and attentive.

   Wow! What a great breakfast! Piping hot and every bit delicious. I got triple black pudding because my companions didn't want theirs. It was delicious! Great service from waitress and waiter doing their best to social distance. Will be coming back!
