Had a wonderful dinner with friends. Delicious starters and mixed grills. Staff were welcoming, friendly and service was good. Lovely setting and atmosphere.

First time ordering from Lebanese Village via Uber Eats, and I was pleasantly surprised! I went for the special mixed grill (perfect portion for one) which included grilled lamb and chicken breast cubes, a minced lamb skewer, lamb rib, one lamb chop, rice with vermicelli, plus garlic and chili sauce. The meat was cooked beautifully, moist, flavourful, and the lamb rib was tender, falling off the bone. The grilled cubes were packed with flavour, and I loved how they layered everything on top of the rice so the juices soaked in. Even as a takeaway, it arrived fresh, well-packaged, and still delicious on delivery. If I had to nitpick, it only came with one lamb chop and I would’ve liked some grilled vegetables on the side to balance it out. But overall, a really enjoyable meal, now I’m excited to visit the restaurant in person! Update: I’ve added more photos after dining at the restaurant recently. Houmous Avurma was so tasty!
Delicious food beautifully presented. Extensive menu catering for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Great selection of Lebanese wines! Very friendly service. Fully recommended.
This is mine and my husbands favourite restaurant in Reading, nothing else comes close. I have been to many Lebanese restaurants around the UK and this in fact is one of the best.The food is 10/10, generous portions, full of flavour and fresh. Also lovely intimate restaurant setting perfect for a date night. The only negative I have is that we didn't enjoy the baklava. Baklava should be served warm, soft and juicey but I found it very dry. Something the restaurant could maybe change.
Good food and good atmosphere as well. The staff were most helpful and coped well. Staff are supportive as well. The starters were a splendid variety of items and all very tasty. Main courses were tasty too and the only thing that could've made it any better was the time between the two courses. Taste of the mood matches the expectations which is a good thing. Portions served also good.
This restaurant is serving the best Lebanese food I've had with 100% authentic flavors. We started out with Fatoush, Hummus & Baba Ghanoush. The fatoush was tangy as it should be. The hummus was perfect on flavor and texture. The Baba Ghanoush had a "roasted" flavor which is essential for that perfect flavor. For the entrée we order the Mixed Grill for Two.... which is actually enough to feed three or four people. The meats were grilled to perfection and were juicy, tender and succulent. Delicious and finger-licking good. The service was personal, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the top notch service.
Very good food. Served promptly, friendly staff. Not crowded. Well presented. Portion size was ok, price on higher side. No parking.
