   We celebrated a dear friend’s birthday here last night and we’re so impressed with EVERYTHING! The staff were all very helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure the evening was a success, which indeed it was! I am a coeliac and had no concerns whatsoever about my dietary requirements as they personally reassured me with every course that was served. Would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a restaurant in Wallingford

   We visited this restaurant for the first time with friends who are locals. It was amazing! The food was so good and the service. My favorite part was the wine recommendations from Stephan himself. I loves good red wine and after asking me questions, he was spot on with his recommendations. I would highly recommend checking them out!

   Quality and quantity with outstanding service and attention to detail. We were blown away by not only the size of portions, but how fresh the ingredients tasted. We learned Le Clos will also use ingredients brought in from France for some of its pastries. If you are lucky enough to have a chat with the owner, Stephan, you'll learn how passionate and knowledgeable he is of all the food and wine served here. The man gives more than he gets, and in many ways our experience here has made us see him as an artist as much as he is a restaurant owner.
