Love looking in all the pre set up rooms. So realistic. We went for a new desk chair, tried them all out, found the one we liked went down stairs, got a big trolly went to the numbered isle and found our new chair. Took it to the checkout, got a lil distracted on the way through with lots of temptations. All good, it was a bit of a walk to the car with a massive trolly with a heavy load bit like being in an airport.

This IKEA follows the standard layout I've seen at all its locations. It features a typical signposted walk through the showrooms, leading to the market and warehouse area. We visited this time because IKEA had a smart home clearance, significantly reducing the price of almost all ZigBee smart devices to £2 (as of December 22, 2025). Parking is convenient, as there are large lifts suitable for multiple trolleys nearby The food was average as usual, but hey, it's cheap. The meatballs were still the highlight for me.

IKEA is always busy so you can expect to queue for parking, food and tills. The displays are lovely and inspiring and we saw lots of Christmas displays today (1 Nov) Keep an eye out for discounts at the restaurant- we tried the £1.50 breakfast and were very happy!

This is not my favourite ikea. The cafe area feels very small. But, it has a multi story carpark and the marketplace is fun to explore. We got everything we were after, but it does feel smaller to me.

I once again had my walking shoes on and it was a joy wandering through IKEA. There were not too many people but the queues for food were very long. It was such a pleasure to look at all the new layouts and I'm very impressed. Once again IKEA showed me why they are the TOP shop to find everything under one roof for your house. Easily accessible for those who are disabled. Enough parking when we arrived. Just a joy 10 out of 10

Used to be better in terms of furnitures, lacks character all the way Sofas looked like walking into a charity shop. The theme of presenting a room is very mediocre Cupboard, closets, storage are ok. Many options available at much cheaper price around London with great quality wood and finishing.

No words to describe this place. A very well maintained furniture shop. It's like walking through a puzzle to find treasures. The place is very crowded and the presence of an amazing cafe upstairs acts as a great incentive to lure people. There is a lot of furniture to choose from and I was awestruck by some amazing themes. You can also find things like strawberry jam, and biscuits sold by IKEA in this shop. Parking is a bit hard as the bay is always crowded with vehicles.

Love IKEA Reading, we are big fans of IKEA and this particular store always has that little extra for the kids. This weekend it was balloon making and face painting.. the store is usually well stocked, clean and never feels too busy.. one of our favourites.
