Came in for a quick pint 6 years ago and haven’t managed to stay away for more than a week ever since! Would highly recommend, great beer selection and a comprehensive array of spirits. Lovely cozy local with pool table and darts board, great sun-trap of a garden and even dog friendly too which is a massive bonus. Worth the trip!
Great pub, good selection of drinks.
We have dropped into The Anchor Inn a few times in the last couple of months and have loved it. The selection of beer is great and the atmosphere lovely. The staff have always had a smile and were chatty. A real find and a pub we would have been looking forward to visiting again. One negative I want to just mention, my wife in trying to turn around outside The Anchor earlier today was moaned at by someone she assummed to be landlord - Bollards Lane is a single file road and a dead end with little or no turning space. Having a go at someone trying to turn because "its people like you turning around that causes damage to the tarmac" I think is a little mean and does not reflect at all on our previous experience.

The best pub in UK including good ales, lagers, friendly people, and porkscratchings. A very nice atmosphere!
