The thing about this shop, is the service and the fact that in this store is you can buy what you want/need in most cases. Well worth a visit. Not enough shops like this about now. If you need/want anything, check out this place FIRST.
Maybe full of great products but made me feel ill when I walked in the smell if stale cigarette smoke was disgusting I would never go in there again!!

A great little old fashion hardware shop, full to over flowing with bits and bobs, plus gardening items. Helpful staff.
I had a good browse around this Aladdin's Cave of everything you could possibly need or want, and was overwhelmed with the choice. A very friendly and knowledgeable lady working in the shop, called Laura, helped me with my choices and I found exactly what I was looking for. She was so helpful and had such a good product knowledge, and experience. I would definitely recommend this hardware store, tucked away in sleepy Tilehurst and if you are lucky enough to be served by Laura, worth her weight in gold, then I'm sure you will be satisfied with your purchases. Also, anything that they don't have in stock they will order in for you. Great! You don't get that sort of choice and service from these big chain stores places.
