Some not so good comments here concerning Italian embassy in London. Why is this so? they get paid to liase with people not to antagonise them. Now please do your job efficiently if you can't step aside and let somebody who can. Dino Carlucci

Hi, I could easily put one star to the call centre service waiting. However it went automatically the “call back” service and unbelievable an operator called me back to resolve my issue which was related to my passport. I asked if an European citizen with a settle status could travel from Uk to Italy with a passport that would expire two months after the flight. Ex flight February 2025 passport expired date April 2025. The answer was “Yes”. The customer service operator 44 was great and super polite. Also very professional. I was amazed by his prompt help to find a closest date to renew my passport. There is still hope and humanity on the other side of the line! Please use the “call back service “!!!

Literally "mission impossible" to renew a passport or get an appointment to get the ID card, website is mostly useless as links are broken or they direct you to he wrong service, or not translated. "Fast.it doesn't work properly, links take you to the wrong pages, so even making a change of address for AIRE is another mission impossible. No one picks up the phone, even the security are rude at the consulate. Spent all that money in getting a new fancy consulate but forgot to keep some money aside to staff it! I pray for any italian needing help at some point in their lives, as they won't get from here. Only advice is to go to the Honorary Consulate in Bristol, their facilities are extremely modest but they are helpful and friendly, well worth the long drive!

I have always been told to contact the Italian Embassy in London when I felt the need to seek help and protection due to extremely dangerous circumstances in which I felt my life threatened. Today it happened just that. I have emailed them with an explicit request of assistant and help because of a difficult situation I am in, from which I felt no safer and desperately seeking some help to end this hurtful and chaotic chapter of my life. You can imagine how surprising for me was when, after only a few minutes, a new incoming email appeared on my screen with the Embassy as a sender... ...don’t get too excited... They have used a template that has nothing to do with what I have requested, and simply redirect me to the Italian Consolate for following up with my request. Only problem? None of the reasons listed by them in the email were even close to the reason for which I presented my request for help in electronic form. Therefore, I now find myself forced to present myself urgently at the Italian Embassy for having a serious, straightforward answer to my request, and if they offer no help, I will go as far as I go to change the system, obviously broken.
