   2 tribute nights and an entertainment evening (no accommodation used - but people told us about it. ) After exchanges post the tribute nights treating quality of performers and the catering, we had one night refunded. The entertainment night far outshine the tributes. The dining was quite good too.

   We had our wedding in Highfield Park last July and we can’t praise them enough. Charlene was very helpful, professional and efficient. She made it stress free for us during the preparation and on our special day. All our guests were very happy with the venue. I would recommend it to anyone who is planning their wedding.

   We attended an evening wedding reception and when we checked the hotel out before it looked so luxurious that we decided to book a room as part of the wedding party. We arrived at 2:45 and was very disappointed with the room it was very cramped as was the bathroom and it looked tired and worn. The heating wasn’t working in the room so ther was a small oil radiator sitting in the room it was so cold I had to wear my jacket to keep warm. After 4 calls to reception we requested an extra duvet. If I had booked via booking.com I would have got the same room at 3/4 if the price and perhaps I would have been satisfied as my expectations would have been lower!

   We had a lovely night stay at this lovely hotel. The drive up to the house through the arch way of trees was beautiful. The gardens and views are perfect. The price was fantastic for staying in such a beautiful old historic building. The gardens are wonderful for a stroll after breakfast and there’s a lovely old church In the grounds. It was quiet and peaceful. Food was good and plentiful. My only negative was the room where breakfast was served was very corporate and wished it could have been in the restaurant we ate in the evening as the views are so beautiful and a shame not to see it in the morning whilst eating our breakfast.

   We had afternoon tea experience which was brought for us as a gift. We went on a Thursday afternoon in January. From the moment we arrived at reception we were made to feel welcome, we were shown to our table which was by the window over looking grounds which were lovely. The tea, sandwiches and cakes soon arrived we were very pleased with the offering and enjoyed the whole experience. We will be going again for the comedy nights and murder mystery evenings.

   I booked for 2 nights, then stayed for an additional night to enjoy the hotel and grounds as I didn't get to enjoy them the first 2 nights. Be sure to budget some time to enjoy the hotel itself as the surrounding natural scenery is really a sight to behold. The hotel is also excellent with nice seating areas to relax and work, and I was particularly well served by Maahin who was very friendly and hospitable.

   We just got back from afternoon tea at Highfield Park- perfect rainy day activity. The food was really tasty and there was a lot. Good variety and fresh food. Hannah and Ash were our servers and they were very kind and served us very graciously.

   Me and a friend went for afternoon tea, the staff were welcoming and friendly! The food was delicious and the venue was lovely. My friend is allergic to citrus so I was worried she may be limited however they accommodated for this with separate cakes which was great! Lovely afternoon tea, will be back and have already recommended to family and friends.
