The location and Staff are amazing, but I am disappointed in the room quality unfortunately. I usually stay at the Premier inn in Caversham as it's closer to work but was accidently booked to this one by my company. I stayed on the top floor which was nice and quiet as there was only 4 or 5 rooms where I was. The shower pressure is quite weak and the shower head need a good clean. The extracting fan did not work so steam stayed in there for a long time. The Room was quite hot as the Aircon was not working properly which was really annoying, air coming out of it was pointless despite showing the frosty icon on the panel. there was nobody to report this to the next morning as nobody on the desk. I was either in room 5002 or 5004. there was also no net curtain on the window?? I was facing the road so would have expected a net in the room. As alwasy though the bed was very comfortable and the rooms are generally very clean.

My daughter and I had a brilliant weekend staying in the hotel. The room was perfect. The location was perfect. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were the best. We spent the evening in the restaurant , the meal was lovely. and in the bar after. . Dominico and Will were the best. Really friendly, helpful, nothing was to much for them. They both made our stay extra special. I will definitely be returning.

I wouldn't stay here if you are sensitive to noise. The location is next to a very busy road and this was audible from within my room on the third floor. I asked to move rooms but nothing could be done. As such I did not get a good night's sleep. I was grateful to the morning staff for letting me cancel my second night free of charge. But the person I checked in with was pretty useless. I specifically asked for a quiet room and she said "oh... I think all rooms are quiet" and I said "I don't want a room on the road side of the building" but she still gave me one anyway. After sending me to the wrong room initially, I came downstairs AGAIN and asked for a different room but immediately got a "we're fully booked" response. Not the customer service i was expecting according to other reviews. I didn't believe they were fully booked and suspect they just didn't want to give me another room in another tier. Whilst the location is near the Oracle, it is not as convenient as some other hotels for busses up to the University. Despite the noise, the rooms were comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located with plenty of shops, restaurants and a cinema a couple of minutes away. Stayed in a plus room which was clean and comfortable but they're not wearing well. There was a few marks and chips in the furnishings and the headboard light wasn't working. This didn't detract from my stay.

Such an amazing experience. Right in the heart of Reading. Shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The beds were so cozy they were hard to get out of in the morning. The staff was always fun and helpful and upbeat!!! Not just one member, it was everyone I came in contact with. You absolutely can not beat the price per night!!

Friendly staff and good location to walk into town. Car park isn’t massive but bigger than some reviews say, It was £13 for 24 hours, not cheap but cheaper than others in the area. Breakfast good, what you’d expect from Premier inn. Room clean and comfortable. Window overlooked busy road but no noise disturbance. Would stay again.

The location isn’t ideal; next to a big roundabout but very close to town centre. The service was absolutely fantastic. Lovely staff, couldn’t do enough for us and the room was absolutely fantastic. Super clean, comfy beds, just wonderful. Didn’t expect much and I normally don’t write reviews but I had a great stay.

Issues checking in, was given the key card to an already occupied room with someone in. Took a while to sort out. Room in the end was quiet and tidy, with a comfy bed. Options for breakfast were tasty and plentiful.

Staff were nice but can’t say the same for the contractors who were currently redecorating. Got told off for leaning on a pillar that didn’t even have wet paint on it and had a door shut in my face whilst carrying loads of bags. Appreciate they’ve got a job to do but little consideration for paying customers.
