   Great value for money, I booked room only for £44. The room was quite, massive, clean and had good mattress and pillows. I recommend booking room only and having breakfast any place near by.

   2 twin bedroom - good sized room with ok beds. easy and convenient parking. no outlets/plugs on the side of the wall where the beds were making it really inconvenient to charge anything at night. only plug was by the desk. curtains were pretty much useless less all morning light in. no microwave, no mini-fridge.

   Had many a meal at the Wee Waif, but after our most recent visit on 11/08 Jamie looked after our table of 13 diners. As usual no problems with any of the food and drinks, great value as usual. But special thanks to Jamie, Job well done.

   We returned to the Wee Waif this evening. Receiving a very warm welcome from Jamie, he advised us of the dining options. We opted to eat in the bar, where the service from all the staff was impeccable. The food was faultless and fantastic value, served by the very attentive Jamie. Will definitely visit again.

   Nice friendly pub hotel. Rooms are big, and the bed is very comfy. The bathrooms are very clean as well. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is great for visiting friends in Hurst & Twyford, easy access to Reading. The rooms definitely need a bit of a refresh, but overall, comfortable . Will be back!

   Last minute booking. Check-in was easy and friendly staff. Room was as described. It was neat and tidy. Room could do with a small fridge amd a few bottles of water in the room. Whilst UK doesn't see a heatwave too often, perhaps having fans available in the room to help circulate air as it was very hot and muggy (and I'm sure if we had thought about asking the staff, this was something they could have accommodated). Facilities were good - particularly having access to the pub was convenient. Food was yummy and the outside garden seating was good. Would recommend getting extra umbrellas or at least cushions to sit on the chairs, especially when the weather is warm as the seats do get hot very quickly in the sun's rays!! Overall, the location was perfect for our needs and it gave us a reasonable comfy roof over our head for the night with food and drink a plenty!
