   The room was comfortable enough, though a little shabby around the edges. The reception area smelt strongly of public toilet disinfectant, fortunately my room was in the other block.

   Great stop off to or from your holiday, and ideal hotel of you have a dog as the back has lots of walking tracks and trails. You may need good footwear though. Friendly and helpful staff and a clean and bright room at a good price, booked on line.

   Not a great place to stay. Hallway had a funny smell to them. Room look ok to start with but Pubic hairs in bath and on tiles, so cleaned it myself first as knew it would be done properly. Breakfast to go was rubbish. Waste of money.

   I was dubious about spending a night here with my family as some reviews were bad. However I really don’t understand some of them. We have gone away for a night and this was the closest and cheapest hotel so we thought why not. We came in and the receptionist was nice and helpful. Our room was a family room on the second floor at the back of the building (room 203) and it was really nice. It was clean, stocked well with tea, the sheets and bedding were clean as my wife has a thing for checking. There were towels and body wash. We were really impressed! The beds were comfy and they had extra pillows. I can say for £64 a night you really can’t go wrong. Would stay here again.

   I have stayed here three times so far. The rooms were clean and cool (I stayed on the ground floor each time). This time there was no hot water in the shower. One night as I came in I could smell weed from a room down the corridor. I told the person at the check in desk about the lack of hot water. He said he would send me voucher to compensate me but I never received it.

   Not happy at all about this experience. Got a bad cold due to the low temperature in the room. The electric radiator is already set on a low temperature and even if you try to set it on another one it will go on 18 degrees anyway. No one at the reception to talk to. The cleaning lady come twice in the room even if the sign with sleeping was on the door! The check out was at 12 and at 9 she got inside the room while i was still in the bed! Her explanation was that on the list the room was showing as checked out! No hair dryer in the room! I know the price was small but what about when during the week a room is 100 pounds? What do you offer for this money?

   The hotel is fine and cheap. Exactly what you expect. However the staff were really nice until I met the assistant manager who when I asked if we could have a late check out merely responded in a grunted 'no.' When I asked why he said it was impossible after 11am, which, as a regular Travelodge user was news to me. I asked why, he said he'd have to tell the cleaners... I offered to tell them on his behalf to which he just repeated, grunting, 'no.' It's a shame as most of the staff I have come across here have been excellent however one assistant manager seems intent on ruining his colleagues good work.

   Staff were friendly on arrival but nobody at reception for check out Room was ok apart from leaky toilet and only one large but very worn towel between 2 adults. It's cheaper than centre reading and has free parking and is much quieter. And plenty of ground floor rooms

   Location and rooms were functional for my needs. The service from Babar the recptionist was exceptional and really made the difference especially as I was a lone traveller. I truly appreciated his professionalism and support with my requests and would recommend based on this aspect above all else. Thank you so much.

   Very dirty, very smelly out building, bath was stained terribly, no soap in container, carpet very smelly, window locked...should be fire exit open! Path from reception to out building very narrow and uneven dark at night, no good pulling large cases across! Noise from next door terrible, no sound proof in walls, my worse ever hotel experience
