   Never rent from this agency — they will endlessly waste your time. You’re required to submit two reference letters from previous landlords, and these must be sent directly from the landlords’ emails to the agency. On top of that, you need a letter from your employer, a credit report, and a personal financial credit check. Even after submitting everything, the whole process remains extremely slow. In the end, you might be delayed and unable to move in on time, potentially losing other housing options as well. Terrible service.

   Worst renting agency ever!! They are all so rude, specially the Manager, high prices for poor quality. We lived in one of their flats 8 months under contract and they never ever came to fix the Windows. Anytime they want they come inside to do inspections and put any excuses to name “is not up to the standards of the contract”, but then you ask to fix window and they avoid to answer... so as a tenant you will have obligations but no rights!! Just be careful with them... They take no responsability of anything.

   I've just started renting a room in a house with You Rent and I'm impressed with the service they have provided and the speed and efficiency of the process. The viewing process was straight forward and the company were very quick at issuing all the paperwork and contacting references on my behalf. All the associated costs were clearly laid out and explained and the company have been a pleasure to deal with thus far, hence why I am writing a positive review.    I’ve had an excellent experience with You-Rent over the last 2.5 years! They have found a lovely 2-bed maisonette for me at a perfect location close to the city center. Ann-Marie and Libby have always been very professional, kind and keen to help. Even though they were not managing my flat, they were always very supportive and they never hesitated to go the extra mile in making sure any issues I had were resolved promptly. If you are looking for a home in Reading, I would strongly recommend You-Rent!

They are able to provide me with the specific requirements I demand from this type of Agency and found them to always be clear and fair with Tenants - the fact that some of my tenancies extend to 7 years is proof in point and testament to the quality of both our services.    As a landlord i have used You Rent for the past couple of lets and have found them to be very good. I like the team of people in the office and think they probably reference tenants a little more thoroughly than the average agent which for me is a big plus! Anne-Marie is certainly straight to the point over certain issues which I appreciate because as a landlord its nice to know someone is looking after my interests and not just paying lip service! You definately feel you are getting more of a 1-2-1 level of service rather than with the bigger agencies where you feel like just a number. They have a good team of trades people and in most cases have got problems fixed as quickly as possible. I am always in touch with my tenants even though i let you-rent manage the day to day occurances and in the main they also seem fairly happy with turn around times of maintenance issues. You cant please everyone all the time especially when you get a boiler breakdown on a friday afternoon! There is always a check-in and a check-out using an inventory clerk. Overall though a positive experience!
