Been to window to the womb twice now for our gender scan and 4D, the staff are lovely and friendly. Made the experience both occasions really special and on the gender scan allowed us to use props to make the moment more magical for us to share with others. Would highly recommend to anyone else, especially if you have other children/family who you would like to be present at the scan as they are very accommodating! Thank you again ☺️

Place is lovely, clean and welcoming. Friendly staff. Beautiful pictures on display and good amount of different style teddies to choose from. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing service. We’ve been to the Portsmouth and Alton clinics, but they don’t even come close to the quality, care, and experience at the Southampton one. The clinic itself is spotless, modern, and beautifully set up — it feels calm and welcoming the moment you walk in, not clinical or rushed in any way. The staff are honestly incredible. Every single person is so kind, caring, and attentive — they genuinely make you feel special from start to finish. Nothing feels like “just another appointment”; they take their time, explain everything clearly, and make the whole experience really personal and memorable. The care was so good that even the baby seemed comfortable — happily wriggling around like they owned the place while we sat there smiling like proud idiots. If you’re choosing a Window in the Womb clinic, Southampton is in a league of its own. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Avoid! At the weekend we attended WTTW Southampton for an early gender and fetal wellbeing scan. It was a very disappointing experience. This is my second pregnancy and we paid for several types of private scan at clinics in Dorset during my first pregnancy - the comparison was significant. My young son was very excited to see his baby sibling and my husband is unable to attend my 20 week scan due to work commitments, so was looking forward to this this opportunity - we all left feeling disappointed. It felt incredibly rushed. I understand the scan is only 5 minutes long but we just couldn't believe the atmosphere in there. Our first child was born extremely premature so reassurance scans like this are incredibly important to us, but we didn't really leave feeling reassured about anything other than a heartbeat. No measurement were taken of baby to confirm gestation prior to the gender confirmation or checks on growth, which I'd suggest is rather in important in terms of fetal wellbeing, Not once did we get to see baby clearly on screen and the pictures that were captured evidence this. I understand that the sonographer can only get so good a view dependant on a range of variables, but in every scan I've ever had (and there's been a lot due to my high risk pregnancies) I've not once had such poor imagery and it seemed as though it was down to lack of effort and time to bother trying. Our youngest is nearly 3 years old and loves our scan photos we've had until now and I was so excited for him to be able to see it in motion - not even once could baby be made out because the sonographer couldn't keep still long enough, it was so sad. The 4D peek we had at our early scan before showed only the back of our sons head and back, but it was clear and precious to us - every single one of our pictures, including the it 4D peek are unclear, blurry and just poor in quality (except for the one gender confirmation picture). I requested a partial reimbursement for the money we spent at our appointment, so that we could pay for a private scan at an alternative private clinic and give our son the magical and intimate experience we were so hoping for and had the first time round. This is the only time he could see his sibling due to his age and the last time for my husband due to his work commitments in the week. We trusted WTTW with this and feel let down beyond measure. Upon emailing the clinic regarding our experience, every point I made was shut down and condoned. They refused any kind of reimbursement despite trying to offer me a £100 discount on a future 4D scan (not really appropriate for someone who gave birth at 25 weeks the first time round). It seems they care only about money as opposed to patient care and experiences

The sonographer was very professional, gentle, and respectful during our scan. They explained everything clearly without rushing, and when we asked for the gender to be placed in an envelope, they did so discreetly. We felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the whole process. ❤️❤️❤️

Just had my 25 week 4D scan and the ladies were so lovely! Baby wasn’t in the right position for a good photo at first so they advised me to grab a drink and do a walk and it worked like magic. They made me feel very comfortable and they have a lot of extras you can purchase. I also love the photo wall! Will definitely recommend

Great experience getting to see our little boy. We've been here every few weeks since about 7 weeks! Staff have been very friendly and supportive throughout our pregnancy and were even understanding when we had to delay our appointment at the last minute due to covid. Would recommend if you're looking to have extra scans of your child.

Lovely experience getting the 16 weeks scan for our pregnancy. Got the gender of the baby too. Scarlett at the front desk was warm and kind, talking through the whole process. After a short wait we were invited into the room to start the scan. Jackie and Ann were lovely also, talking through the scan as they went. We got a lovely readout of the heartbeat, they even went back to ensure we could get the best recording. The building is slightly cold so bring a jumper. A great day!
