Stayed at the Ibis Southampton and had really pleasant experience. The room was tidy, cozy, and had everything I needed. The Staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and always cheerful. Thank you to the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable.
I recently stayed at the Ibis Hotel in Southampton and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-organized — ideal for both business travelers and those visiting the city or heading on a cruise. The staff were welcoming and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is excellent: close to the cruise terminal, the train station, and main amenities, making it extremely convenient for getting around. The rooms are simple but comfortable, quiet, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh options — a great way to start the day. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great value for money. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and warm hospitality!
Staff were lovely and polite. Extremely helpful when it came to storing medication. Rooms were ok, clean and tidy. Tv was a bit on the small side. The view was fantastic especially when there was a cruiseship to be seen. All in all a decent hotel and stay. I would return and reccommend to others.
Very decent budget friendly hotel. Awesome view of the cruise ships at the docks. Stayed for one night before our cruise and cant really fault it too much at all for the money. Nice and quiet, good cold pint and very comfortable bed. Shower was nice and powerful. Would maybe mark it down a tiny bit for breakfast cost and quality having had better for that sort of price elsewhere but overall its good. Everything on your doorstep too, some good bars and pubs in walking distance and shops etc too.
Stayed for a night while on business in Southampton. Located near the train station is a useful feature. The lobby is bright and modern and well laid out. The room was quite small and with twin narrow beds. Basic room amenities (no safe in room however) and quiet. It did its job, if not a particularly nice place to spend much time. Breakfast was a very modest selection of food, you won't go hungry but you certainly weren’t spoilt for choice. Plenty of seating though. The very best thing about the hotel was the staff, all very courteous, welcoming and professional, they are a real asset to the business. The downside was the ridiculous price as apparently when there are events on in the city, the prices rocket up. But especially so for this hotel and it certainly left a sour aftertaste. I wouldn't return if they charged anywhere near that price again.
Good foyer/reception area and bar. Staff very amenable and helpful. Room clean and well presented as expected.
Booked here again for it location to facilities and service. Food was OK and next to gym and train station both within 5 mins walk and easy booking service made it faultless and straightforward. Used the iron and board for work shirts which need replacing as they were damaged but that's my fault for not ironing before arrival. Lift small but works with your door key so easy access.
Perfectly positioned hotel for cruises. Room was fine, restaurant fine and bar all good. No complaints. Price per room ok but car parking rather expensive.
Stayed over the night before a cruise. Dinner was great, breakfast was super and I left my car in the car park for two months at less than half the price of the cruise terminal car parks. Great check in and out. Recommended.
This is my new venue for 2022/23 and I'm delighted with it! Great function rooms and superb help. Free parking for me and my customers. Can't fault it!
