Myself and my partner spent 3 nights at Carey's to celebrate her birthday. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and left feeling relaxed and really pleased with our stay. We chose the Cambium restaurant to dine in for our first night and were blown away by the food and service we received! 10/10! During our stay we were equally impressed with the French restaurant which also lived up to the high standards set by Cambium with a romantic atmosphere. Our breakfast was included in our stay and we were pleased with the quality of cooked to order food available alongside the complimentary continental buffet provided which has a host of fresh juices, health shots and Healthy options too. We stayed in one of the garden view rooms which was perfect, relaxing, spacious, comfortable and clean with everything needed to chill out and enjoy some downtime. During our stay we made use of the spa facilities, including the hydrotherapy rooms too which were fantastic and well worth visiting. My partner also booked a massage and did mention it was hands-down the best massage she's ever had! We enjoyed time taking in the cosy atmosphere sat by the fire in the main reception area as well as drinks in the lounge and bar. The location was ideal too, just a short walk into the local village and on the doorstep of new Forrest trails which were all walkable from the hotel. We always felt extremely welcome, all staff were very attentive and courteous which always added to the luxury feel we experienced throughout! We will definitely be returning and would 100% recommend to friends and family.

We just had christmas afternoon tea.. all i can say was how very dissapointed i was.. im gluten free. And the sandwiches were very dry with no butter.. and fillings not the best.. the scones that i had were hard i couldnt get a knife through so ended up using my hands and picking the hard bits off.. they had forgotten the Christmas reindeer, which made the tea more festive looking.. there were no table clothes which could of added to the festive experience.. all in all very dissapointed..

Beautiful looking building, however the car park is a bit of a walk away which isn’t fun in the rain. We stayed in a large suite which was gorgeous with two bathrooms. The non-functioning toilet was fixed quickly. However this room over the hallway was very noisy, both with evening events and with the huge amount of staff moving things around and talking very loudly to each other at all hours. No effort was made to use indoor voices. We had two Meals at the Zen restaurant, one which was delivered to our room and was very good. The main restaurant in the hotel was overpriced in my opinion and the food was quite average. We had the vegan option and we waited a long time to be served food that wasn’t very hot. It was okay but overpriced. I can’t speak for meat eaters but the vegetarian/vegan cooked breakfast were very poor – to be honest I’ve had much better breakfasts in a Premier Inn. The fruit was nice, the bread was nice but the cereal selection was incredibly poor. Plant milks were just dumped in their cartons in a bowl. The staff were helpful and pleasant throughout. We also visited the spa and had a massage. Massage was excellent and the staff delightful, however at the end we were led to a sofa and handed a piece of paper where we had to say how much tip we wanted to give. We felt a bit ambushed and to be honest thought the massages were already expensive enough. This should be handled better. The pool, sauna and steam room are excellent. The Jacuzzi was not working but the staff helpfully allowed us free access to the hydrotherapy area which was absolutely superb. However we would not have been prepared to pay nearly £40 per person for a two hour slot. You could be forgiven for thinking that this was just a way of keeping hotel guests out of the Members Only area! Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a fabulous day walking in the New Forest together with another lovely day by the pool. I felt this hotel just about scrapes four stars and in particular should rethink their vegan and vegetarian options in the restaurant.

We had a pleasant stay at the Careys Manor hotel but it is not worth the £315 per night it charges, it's at the bottom end of 4 star. The hotel is quite tired now, and has an 80s motel feel where the rooms are, with the old central part being more country feel. Our garden room was a little shabby, e.g. black mould on the bathroom tiles, paint wearing off the furniture. The spa is ok, again, quite tired and small, for example, only 2 people can fit in the sauna at a time. What makes the hotel though are the staff. The service was impeccable, in particular the staff managing the busy breakfast service. In addition, they are one of the best hotels Ive come across for catering for gluten free, with a wide variety of choice at breakfast and at the Zen restaurant for dinner.

Stayed for a two night spa break. The hotel is in a wonderful location. Very easy central access to the whole new forest with walks on the doorstep (albeit a short drive away). The town of brockenhurst is very nearby and walkable with restaurants and shops. The hotel itself looks wonderful and picturesque. The lobby and all restaurant areas are decorated to a high standard. The rooms felt modern and comfortable, with the exception of the bathroom which was ever so slightly dated and could've felt more high end in keeping with the rest of the room. The spa facilities were great, and well managed. The treatments were of excellent standard and well delivered. The restaurants were excellent, both serving great food and exceptional service with a good variety of choices. Would most definitely stay again!

We recently celebrated our wedding a Careys Manor, we spend a lot of time here because in our opinion the spa is the best, Cambium restaurant is phenomenal, the rooms are cozy and the service is always impeccable. So when my Husband proposed I the lounge, it seemed only fitting to get married here too. From the first meeting with Francoise we felt completely at ease, she is incredibly profession and clearly has a wealth of experience. She advised us but also let us run free with ideas we had, nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. We had the complete celebration package, which includes a fantastic amount, and all things that reduced stress as they were included. Table decorations, chair covers, evening DJ and so much more. The food choices were brilliant, and our guests loved being able to choose. On the day we were so well looked after, the team could not have done more for us, especially our Master of Ceremonies Janos. The team ensured we were having the best possible day, checking if we needed anything and making time for us to step away if we needed. The quality of the food was amazing for both the breakfast and evening buffet. We cannot thank Francoise and her team enough, the day was perfect, and everyone had an incredible time.

Couldn't fault anything, In the heart of the New Forest. The reception lady was lovely, helpful and informative. The Spa facilities were great. The room was very clean with a lovely new bathroom and power shower. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and the two on site Thai and French Restaurants were absolutely fabulous. All in all an amazing place to stay.

Set in lovely grounds. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Even the cleaning staff are polite and friendly. It was my partner's birthday, during the stay, the manager left a greeting card and balloon in room. A nice touch. Breakfast is extra and could be included in price of room. It was tasty, using locally sourced produce. The bed is very comfortable. Room was clean. Air con was a bit of hit and miss. Can't really complain about it, as I didn't say anything about it to reception.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the New Forest. Staff on arrival were lovely! Rooms were comfortable and had a small balcony. We couldn't get a table in the main restaurant or the Thai or French one (6pm or 9.30pm) so had to eat out on our first night. Visited the Thai on the second night and it was great, really good food and service. Swimming pool was good but busy, but don't wear hotel slippers on the poolside (as they do advise), I slipped quite badly but it was my fault for wearing them! Staff at all times were lovely, very pleasant stay!

My partner and I had a lovely time visiting Careys Manor Hotel for our anniversary celebrations. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and all the staff that we encountered were incredibly nice and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and felt modern with a classic twist to it. The only fault was that in the bathroom, which we assume was a wet room, when the shower was on the floor did get incredibly wet and didn't feel like it began to drain until the shower stopped. We were able to enjoy the spa facilities, which are open 7am - 9pm. There are optional extras to pay for but the spa included the standard pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room with an oriental design which we enjoyed a lot. We had a time for two massage the following day which was incredibly relaxing and couldn't fault either of the ladies who delivered the massages, thank you both very much! We had breakfast in the morning, in which we were asked to book a time which was no issue for us. The restaurant this was served in was light and clean and we enjoyed the wooden theme throughout. There was a lot on offer, including pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast and cooked breakfast in a buffet style, and you could also order specific items from their menu to be made for you. The longue area was lovely and we enjoyed a game of chess in their after our breakfast. Unfortunately the Thai restaurant was fully booked for dinner and so we were unable to attend but it smelt delicious! The stay was on the more costly side but for a special occasion we think it was worth it and would recommend.
