Shout out to Jack, who contacted me, as soon as my order was received, to find out my most convenient date of delivery. As it turned out, the bike was hand delivered, fully built, by the AW Cycles team. Top notch service!

My purchase of the P7 Orange hardtail from AW Cycles was flawless. In an era dominated by automated scripts, call centres, and chatbots, it was a refreshingly human experience to hear a friendly voice on the phone who answered all my questions and helped me secure a really good deal on the bike. Delivery was top-notch, even during the busy Christmas season. It arrived quickly and was professionally handed over with a free set of pedals (nothing fancy) to get me going. This is how customer service should be done. Big thanks to the whole team at AW!

Fabulous customer experience. Jack kept me in touch with the progress of my order, arranged delivery for a suitable date. It arrived in good order and on time. I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you

My one and only experience of AW Cycles was VERY good. A broken derailleur nearly ruined a weekend gravel ride, but they sorted the problem on the spot on Saturday in about 30mins. The mechanic was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the issue and the parts he changed, which was great to know if it ever happens again. Very reasonable price for getting the issue fixed. 5 star service. Thank you again.

I am not usually one to give a bad review as I believe in local shops and businesses and want to encourage and support them. I even held off on this review until I had given the shop a second chance to make good. I decided I wanted to repair my old bike and get it back to good working order instead of buying a new bike. I am all for recycling and reusing as much as possible. So I handed in my bike at the beginning of summer with the promise it would only take a couple of weeks to assess and get back to me about what needed to be done and a quote for the cost. I waited patiently but I did not hear back from the shop for a month. When I eventually called, they were unable to find my bike until later on when I called back and said it was done - it was going to cost over £240! I was shocked how expensive it was and I had not received any call to let me know. I went to collect it straight away, but part of the gear cover was missing. Although the mechanic was very friendly and eager to help, I did start to question the quality of the repair if they could hand me back my bike in this condition. I left and then waited again for a call back but none was received. Today, when I decided I couldn’t wait any longer (this is 2 months after dropping off the bike) I went to collect it and took it for a test ride and found that the gears were clunky and still not aligned properly! I came back and asked the mechanic about this - he took it back and said he had not done the repair (no apologies!). It took him less than 20 minutes to adjust saying it was now fine - again I question the quality of this repair. I am not sure how much time was actually spent repairing my bike but I don’t think it was necessary to keep it for the whole summer leaving me without a bike. If it had been done earlier, I feel they could have communicated a lot better with me. Also, for the price I don’t feel I got value for money - the hand grips were replaced and it got a ‘full service’ but there were still problems as I mentioned. I didn’t feel happy and excited about my bike and I don’t have very much confidence that the problems were actually fixed properly. As a whole I felt the mechanic was very friendly and eager to do what he could to help, but I question the quality of the repair and the poor communication.

The staff could not be more helpful and attentive. From walking into the shop to helping me load my new bike into the car it was a real pleasure. Their knowledge, customer service and great range of bikes is excellent. After pondering the internet for weeks and visiting many bike shops they stand out amongst others. Well worth a visit, I highly recommend these guys.

Outstanding shop, sometimes you get used to people that either don't really know what they are selling or just don't care. With a bike purchase it's not simple & I personally needed guidance and these guys were truly brilliant. Helpful, patient and easy to talk to. Can't ask for more, great shop.

I was having some problems with the disc brake on my mountain bike and thought it needed the mounts facing. After calling the workshop, I was able to bring the bike straight in. The workshop staff were knowledgeable and happy to help - in the end all that was needed was a minor adjustment, for which they didn't even charge. Very happy with the service, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Dave at AW cycles did a fantastic job in recommending and sourcing the parts for the rebuild of my 2002 Orange Evo 2. He was very knowledgable, helpful and loved to see the old bike come back to life.

As many other reviews suggest; one of the best Bike shops around. They set the benchmark very high and frankly in my 15 years of cycling not come across a shop this good. I travel 30 miles to them, wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff all seem keen cyclists, extremely knowledgeable and most importantly as they are experts they do NOT look or talk down to you as many other shops are guilty of. Extremely friendly & accommodating, highly recommended
