   Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a bike shop. The service is extremely poor — staff are unhelpful, slow to respond, and clearly don’t care once they’ve made the sale. The bike I bought from them had terrible quality issues right from the start, but when I went back to ask for an exchange or proper help, they refused to take responsibility. I expected much better from a big name like Evans Cycles, but they completely let me down. The product quality is disappointing, and the customer service is even worse. Definitely not recommended — save your money and go somewhere that actually values their customers.

   I was looking for a bike for my grandson and the guy in Evans in Reading was just so helpful. He didn't have a suitable bike but made many helpful suggestions. Makes a nice change. Would highly recommend.

   I bought a bike on Sunday morning and was told it would take 1.5 hours to prepare it as there were 4 bikes ahead of me. Fair enough. I said I would come back Monday morning to pick up the bike. Monday morning, the bike hadn’t been done yet. No apology just told we sold 15 bikes yesterday and you’re going to need to wait. Well, I’m so happy for you. That means you worked on several bikes sold after mine when I’d been kind enough to give you 24 hours to prepare it. Hopeless service.

   Its not something i usually do but today i felt the need to review these Guys at Evans Cycles especially Joe (Sales guy) what a guy!! .. super helpful everytime i use the store, he even gives my boys his time with any questions they might have!? the advice he's given me thus far has been spot-on hence why i continue to use the store! .. i have complete confidence in these guys and strongly recommend anybody that might have Bike issues, or are looking to purchase a new Bike/bike parts or even advice to go to these guys, very honest, very friendly and the job will get done properly! .... thanks :)

   Great experience, I called the store a week prior to going for my complimentary health check. I arrived at the store in the morning and staff were a little surprised as I don’t think it was communicated that I would be coming in for this, nevertheless the staff were very welcoming and completed the health check anyway. It took about an hour and they even found a couple of bit that had not been put together right from assembly at the initial point when the bike was first delivered. All in all very happy with the service and would recommend.

   The nut had come off the front skewer for my bike, this shop willingly gave me a whole front quick Release skewer for free, I hadn't even asked for it for free. The guy was very knowledgeable about all things bikes. Would highly recommend this shop for parts and servicing

   Popped in for a quick tire pressure check and store`s gentleman workshop staff helped me without a moment. He also gave a decent check to my derailleurs to adjust them before my long ride. Very much appreciated all the time when I visit the store.

   Ross was fantastic throughout my dealings with Evans Cycles. He made sure that I had everything I needed when I ordered the bike into store for click and collect, he made sure that the bike was setup correctly and then gave my a detailed walk through of how the fold works and the aftercare I can expect. When I need a service or replacement I will be heading back to the reading store!
