    Nisha made me feel welcomed at the counter from the very first moment. I had my vaccination today and I was really nervous as I am terrified of needles. I really hoped that she will be the giving me the vaccination as she was so welcoming and supportive from the first moment we talked. She talked me through the process , made me feel seen and understood . Her whole personality and kindness made huge difference and a huge impact on how I feel about healthcare services. I am grateful for her support and encouragement, her kindness . Nisha thank you so much for helping me get through this and appreciate all your advice and the conversation we had. You are a fantastic human being and so grateful for you being an exceptional healthcare provider.

    Having called different pharmacies today to try and get a private flu jab for my two teenage granddaughters, Boots at Salisbury (being our nearest branch) were incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. But, when we called BOOTS at SOUTHAMPTON ABOVE BAR, Eliza was so very understanding and had excellent customer service and care. So, a big thank you to Eliza and to the pharmacist at this store.

    Had my travel vaxes today from the pharmacist and had an excellent experience! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the disease risks to look out for in the area, gave me plenty of advice, and was very friendly and professional throughout. Even gave me a few tips on good travel routes through the region! Cannot recommend highly enough if you're getting your jabs privately! Thank you!

    I went into the West Quay retail park branch to purchase some make up for my five year old who is in a dance show. I was told they don't have anyone trained in that branch in make up and so sent me to the Above Bar branch. We were pushed for time but walked all the way up there (5 year old in tow). It turned out to be a complete waste of time! We were directed by a member of staff in the store to a make up assistant. The first one I spoke to wanted to know how much I wanted to spend. I told her the situation we had, and she told me that the make up we wanted was "over there" and that she couldn't help me because she was only trained in premium. I was only looking for basic help and didn't need someone to give professional guidance, a regular member of staff with some idea about make up would have been fine. I didn't really know what the various products I needed to get were and where they were or how to find them. I had a meaningless list. I approached another member of staff and explained the situation. I said I didn't really know much about make up and just needed someone with a bit of an idea. Again I was pointed to "those ranges over there". I spoke to a couple more members of staff and the same again. In the end I had to call a friend and try to work it out with them, which was difficult because they were not in the shop and could not see the ranges available. So what exactly are the staff in the store employed to do? Stand around chatting? I saw plenty of that going on. They obviously cannot be bothered with customer service. All I wanted was a bit of help, I didn't need a trained specialist, yet I ended up feeling as though I was interrupting their conversations. I don't think I will be rushing to use this branch of Boots of Boots anytime soon!

    Been ordering the same item from here for 8 years, some staff helpful but mostly rude!I Went in to order my tablets and they told me I couldn't order them in store so I phoned and they said I have to order when the pharmacist is there so again couldn't take my order. Ring back the next day and they take the order WITHOUT the pharmacist there. Need to work on their customer service skills!

    All types of skin care, body care, hair care available here. This is actually a pharmacy but I often come here for the above mentioned products that I don't find properly in supermarket. I can find any specific brand that I'm looking for in here. It's a big store as well.

    Been into store today to collect a prescription and I was shocked at how cold the store is!! Not sure how Boots management expect their staff to work in such appalling conditions. The staff must be freezing especially near the main doors at the front of the store where the self service checkouts are.

    I've been going to this boots for years and have never had any problems. Until a few a months ago. Firstly the staff on the pharmacy counter really need to work on their customer service. I go monthly to collect my prescription and since a few months ago I've had to wait around 15-20 mins to be served. I wouldn't mind but when there is 4 of them at a time stood behind the counter talking or trying to hide out of the way to avoid customers then it gets my back up a bit. Especially where I have a toddler with me who I'm trying to entertain whilst waiting. The staff don't even say to you "I'm just sorting an order I'll be with you soon" they just ignore you and when there's 4 in the queue waiting it's really poor service. Since you've moved to the self service checkouts (which I have no problem with using, at times it's easier to do it myself then waiting for your staff to put things through the till) the staff member looking after the self checkouts are in a daze and not looking out to see if security tags and that need taking off. One of my item had a security tag on it and my till flashed it I waited patiently but the lady was just staring outside I had to call her over to take the tag off which she did and then went back to staring outside I had to call her over again because she needed to verify the age for the item. It's a shame because I spend a lot of money here but it is pushing me away and not wanting to spend my money anymore
