The prices were great value here, more half price off on hiking and walk, plus winter clothing. Big store. Loads of parking.

Store was great, staff polite. Issue is the tags on the inside of tshirts that are extremely rough and stitched into the seam so when you try to delicately cut the tag out (because its like sandpaper against your skin) you're left with a hole in your new top. Cannot understand the sense in this when so many other companies have found ways around this.

Frustrating Experience - Staff Seem Reluctant to Help I’ve visited this Mountain Warehouse location multiple times recently, and while the product range is good, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. When I rang to enquire about a product, I was asked for a specific product code - which meant I had to go online myself, find the item, click through to “read more,” and locate their obscure product code. They didn’t seem to have any system to search for products by description or name, nor were they willing to simply walk around and look for the item themselves. It felt like I was doing their job for them - what customer knows product codes off the top of their head? The reluctance to help continued in-store. I overheard another customer trying to get assistance with pricing, and it seemed to be treated as a huge inconvenience. When I asked about swimming shorts I’d seen the previous day (which were in the back room as the sizes weren’t all on display), I was told they couldn’t look it up without a product code. The staff member essentially dismissed my request, saying I’d need to find the code myself. They have phones and computers at their disposal - why can’t they look it up? One assistant was genuinely nice and helpful, which I appreciated. However, the overall attitude from most staff members gave the impression that actually helping customers was an annoyance rather than their job. Having worked in retail myself, I’d be frustrated if my team showed this little interest in making sales. It’s a shame because the products are decent, but the service makes shopping here more hassle than it’s worth.

This is the biggest Mountain Warehouse (MW) outlet in the UK, located in the Castlepoint shopping centre in Bournemouth... And I travelled 90 miles to visit this store. I have a few stuff from Mountain Warehouse and was hoping to improve the collection. Well I was not really satisfied, as it didn't offer anything new that their normal outlet does not. This store can become their flagship store, and the overall experience can be uplifted, instead what we get is bigger MW store with the same things for sale. The only plus side I felt is their inventory is better placed and there is a lot more place to move around for customers. I would like if their shoes are displayed in a better manner instead of keeping them in boxes and making the customer open all the boxes to check the colour. So people in and around Bournemouth can certainly visited this, others... You are not missing anything.

Don't buy Peter Storm boots.I bought a pair less than 18 months ago, hardly wore them during the hot dry summer, wore them a few times last winter but already they are cracked and leaking, next journey for these boots will be to the dustbin. Waste of money.

We bought walking shoes, socks and a hat for our son. The young man at the till kindly made us aware of the student discount that our son was eligible for. Prices are much lower than RRP and customer service was excellent.

The Manger in here is I’m sure on drugs!! Small little blonde haired rude man! I can’t remember his name but boy is this guy in the wrong job!! Last month I went into this shop on multiple occasions for different reasons and the manger was the RUDEST member of any retail staff I have ever come across!! He had the worst attitude iv ever experienced!!! he was aggressive and stunk of cannabis!!! I spoke to a few members of staff about him and even they had bad words against him! I haven’t been in there for a while and I really hope he doesn’t work there any more as all he will do is spoil people experience of what usually is a lovely store!

Well stocked store. I was looking for a sports bag, but didn't find a size suitable, but the store has plenty of stock. I had a good wander through the shop to see what else may be of interest. No masks needed, which is welcome as far as I am concerned. Free parking there, is always a bonus.
