   Fantastic venue, restored and looking exquisite and truly one of Berkshires best kept secrets! So pop in and have a coffee or a glass of wine and some lunch. The views are glorious and the staff are superb! Thank you dear AnnMarie, Mary, Harris, Tristan, Kieran, Kurrine and James. You are always so welcoming and hard working! If you’re interested in the retirement village and property aspect then get in touch with Vicki, she’s an absolute darling and will show you around this stunning place steeped in history!

   Beautiful venue, inside and out. We were married here 8yrs ago when it was a wedding venue and it was such a pleasure to finally come back and see it newly decorated. We had afternoon tea and it was delicious. The Prosecco was also very nice!! Husband ordered vegan afternoon tea so we could have our own each and he enjoyed his too. Didn’t feel rushed to finish our food but also very attentive and polite staff. So beautifully renovated. Will be booking to come back for dinner soon I’m sure! Just wish it was open of an evening later than 8pm.

   We had our Christmas party there last night. The waiting staff were so attentive, the place looks beautiful and the food was stunning - especially considering the price. An absolute gem. We will be back! Christmas menu £32 for 3 courses and loads of drinks all came in at just over £50 per head!

   Stunning decor, excellent service and friendly people. The afternoon tea was ok with fresh, tasty sandwiches and excellent scones. Cakes were decent quality but previously frozen and not right for the price range.
