    I had a telephone consultation booked this morning (and was assured at my previous appointment that this would be a telephone call after an initial face to face check) but noone called on my landline or mobile mumber. I telephoned them but they let it ring off several times. On my fourth attempt to call they picked up and put the phone down straight away. When I tried calling back the phone was left off the hook and still has an engaged tone now. So now I am left with no medication and no way to resolve this as this can't be done via the GP anymore. Very poor and unreliable service.

    Busy check out when I visited, but has a really good set of expanded services and consultation rooms. They do things like vaccinations, medical photography appointments etc. for the NHS. Really nice place for these services; easy parking and no queues.

    5***** Excellent 24/7 vend collection...great communication. Not been used to this service. Not had any experience on meds reviews yet...maybe even this is highly organised? Wait and see I guess. Impressed...not the only pharmacy that has spotted a need, but this is near enough to purpose a walk...so a win win! Thank you Team.

    The negative reviews here are surprising as my experiences here have been wholly different and positive. Of course, I'm not undermining the negative feedback here; however, the lady behind the counter has always been welcoming and friendly towards me. I am aware that they are not the most well-stocked pharmacy in the area, but this is always explained nicely to me and she will order the medicine for me right away (typically available the next day). Overall, this is a small, friendly neighbourhood pharmacy that fulfils prescription orders. I recommend it to those in the area.

    rude staff member at the till, unfortunately. This was my first time collecting medicine, so as a first timer i wouldn't understand what would happen. Throughout the interaction, I noticed the lack of politeness but understood that working could be a very taxing thing to do. However i had kindly asked at the till for her to reiterate what she meant, and although i was informed on what to do, the tone was rather negative and could be taken as hostile. I still stayed calm and collected. When I was walking out of the pharmacy, i actually heard another staff member tell her to not "raise her voice / yell at customers", meaning it was not only just me that thought the same thing.

    I don’t often write reviews but wanted to share my experience of this pharmacy having read the mixture of reviews on Google. I have been using their services regularly for over 10 years now and cannot fault them. My prescription is always ready when they say it will be - yes in recent times the turnaround time has increased to 7 days from ordering but this is not a problem for me and I’m happy to order a week in advance to give everyone a chance to do their bit. Being a regular I have often seen them dealing with difficult and irate customers the best they can in what recently has become a difficult profession to work in. However, often this is due to circumstances out of the pharmacies control eg. stock shortages, delayed prescriptions or people not ordering their medication in advance. I have too often seen first hand how rude customers can become when the staff try to manage their expectations. Personally I believe they do the best they can in a difficult situation. We are too familiar with seeing the NHS in the news and how it is struggling. Pharmacy is no different. Anyone who uses this pharmacy regularly I’m sure will agree that they are efficient and try to help as much as they can. Regulars will know that they are currently going through a major refit and extension to help improve their offering to the local community and have remained open throughout the process. I have seen new processes put in place but have only seen this improve their efficiency and can understand why change is necessary. Pharmacy is a changing landscape which is obvious to anyone who takes an interest. So many things have had to change due to lack of funding, pharmacy workforce pressures and many pharmacies closing their doors which has placed increase pressure on those that remain open. I know this because I take time to speak to the staff at the pharmacy and I empathise with them. If you have any issues please go in and speak to the team with respect. They have always responded to any of my concerns with upmost professionalism.

    After recently giving this pharmacy a good review and the pharmacy is still good but I have to add that they will not take cash money, other pharmacies take money. Why have a cash till if you won't the money. Covid on money and coins is very low yet you still won't except cash. I only wanted a nasal stick for 2.80 but couldn't buy it because all I had was cash. Other customers offered to pay for it with a card but I said no. Its ridiculous in the fact other pharmacies will take cash.

    Lovely little pharmacy ( looking forward to seeing the end result of recent work they’ve been having done). Definitely a godsend during the pandemic for me and ever since.

    They helped me when I was in need today. Would have had to wait 24 hours for some medication I’d run out of but I wasn’t coping well without it and the kind lady behind the counter turned it around for me in 15 mins despite them being incredibly busy. I am so grateful.

    What is wrong with this chemist?? I just called from a community pharmacy to ask for a prescription to be returned to the spine as the patient was waiting. I was kept on hold and the staff member (female) was very incompetent. I told her the patient was waiting and she said 'couldn't you tell them to ask their GP to send a new prescription?' I said 'No, because they already issued one to you. All you have to do is return it. Plus it's a controlled drug, they wouldn't be able to do that anyway' She kept me on hold again and then hung up without returning the prescription. I called again straight away and they didn't answer the phone. This was around 17:50 on Tuesday 22nd November 2022. Useless pharmacy who's putting patient's medication at risk!
