I absolutely adore the trendy styles this store offers. The clothes fit so well and they look amazing. I really appreciate this option and the quality of the goods is great. Huge variety of fabrics, from general textiles to specialized materials like trims, buttons, and embellishments .Thank you so much for making me feel beautiful!
Just popped into Matalan in the Pompey Centre. Only bought some trainer socks. Was helped by a very lovely assistant. She was so kind. Showed me how to register for an award card and then helped me to process the payment. It is lovely to meet such nice helpful staff and I am very grateful. Well done. She is definitely a credit to the brand.
I wanted to write this review after my experience today, I did an online order for a holiday that I have coming up so it was a big order, unfortunately most of the stuff didn’t fit so I had to take it in store to return, I was a bit worried as it was a big return and I know returns can be a faff. I was served by Neve at the tills and she was so lovely, as an anxious person she reassured me that it was no problem at all and she did the return swiftly. Thank you for being so kind Neve!
Visited yesterday with my partner. Sunny day,good mood,money in our pockets. My partner needed basic items, I just browsed. We will never shop here again,after being followed round shop,and hearing the security announcements as we walked round the shop !! Disgusting!! Then as we were leaving, to overhear one of the staff, say into her radio " They were actually polite" You know why we were polite? Because we were brought up,to be polite and not to steal !! Never shop here !!

This is a good size store with a verity of different clothing and household options. The store is kept in a clean manner which is good to see, however staff are unhelpful and more interested in talking to each other than assisting in your shopping needs. Shame with what is on offer Matalan should be a great place to shop, but I would only shop here if you have to.
This store has some beautiful clothing options for both genders and all ages. There are even celebratory items here especially Christmas products: clothing, decorations, toys, stationery, kitchenware and pillows. The price is great for majority of items. The building looks like a warehouse with beautiful items. I can recommend this to anyone based on needs.
