Called today - got 2 x ham and rocket sandwiches with mustard and 2 x sausage rolls - bread was stale - not buttered and the sandwiches were dry as a bone - 2 mouthfuls were enough. Expected the ‘sausage roll’ to be amazing !!! How wrong we were - totally inedible - a big chunk Of cheap meat with a thin Pastry - no flavour and lots of gristle Ridiculously overpriced at over £17 for 2 sandwiches and 2 sausage rolls Should have know, as there were no Prices on anything Had we not just been passing through and eating it on the journey we would have returned the whole lot and asked for a refund Will never return and would recommend you avoid this place - Had We been able to give it 0 stars we would have Would welcome the owners feedback but doubt I will get it We live local and visit Beverly frequently but let this be a warning to anyone visiting our lovely town

We came pre-covid and this place was absolutely wonderful. 3 years on, I was so disappointed. No ice cream in the front. No chef on either. We ordered a ploughman's sandwich, a croissant and a chicken Caesar salad. Everything came out and was clearly stale and from the day before. My daughter would normally inhale a croissant but said it was too dry. Husbands sandwich was dry, and the salad was inedible. Green slimy bits of lettuce with far too much dressing, what appeared to be the breakfast bacon with long pieces of rind, and some very dry chicken. This plus 3 drinks cost us £30 and was all inedible. Top it off the glass was absolutely filthy (see pic). Real shame because this used to be a wonderful place, but stay clear, there are lots of better coffee shops for half the price in 3 minutes walking distance.

Absolutely disgusted, called for much needed coffee, couldn’t decide between here or Caffè Nero next door, ended up at Harrison’s as more space available outside. Ordered 2 latte’s, cost £7.00 when they arrived I thought they had the wrong table, as the cups were tiny!! Coffee was not very hot neither did it taste that nice! Just been robbed I think, live & learn, as sat longingly looking at the clientele next door enjoying their very large mugs of steaming coffee!

We wouldn't return to Harrison's in the future. The menu looks pretty good from the outside but when we tried to order a lot of items were out of stock. Two full tables were taken up by the owners and their family despite only being five people. It took them almost an hour to serve two jacket potatoes and a sandwich. It was clear that the chef was overwhelmed with the number of people in the restaurant (seven people split across three parties) because the waitress was discussing it loudly with one of the owners. When they arrived the jacket potatoes were underdone and stingy on the filling. There are too many tables and chairs in the restaurant - it is legitimately a fire hazard. I must give kudos to the owner whose family were not there however as he seemed to be the only one running any orders and was the only one to provide any customer service. With all that being said, the coffee was pretty good so if you're passing and want it to go - that might be worth trying. If you order something straight out of the counter - service was much faster.

Overpriced and Dirty. I was there today 22/04/22. I sat outside no table service so went into the shop. I Ordered Tea and a small seafood sandwich on a Broche roll Quick service friendly staff. However no lid on the Teapot. Teapot was dirty as was the cup. Also the Table was cleared but also dirty. The price £12.50 Never again

Food was great, didn't mind paying that little bit more as we were out for a treat day. Staff were friendly too. Attention to detail is a bit off, our order was wrong for a couple of the sandwiches we ordered, my wife wanted the chicken sandwich and she got goats cheese. Thankfully she loves goat cheese but I would have expected what we ordered. They also forgot a coffee and had to chase that up. Wasn't too busy either as we were in there around 3ish, so no crowds, just 4 of us and 3 other couples on the other tables. Food was fantastic though, the reuben sandwich was delicious and we all enjoyed what we had. Just more attention to detail from the staff and this rating would have been higher.
