   A warm welcome here from both the staff and a lovely open fire. The food menu is not extensive but im sure you will find something to suit your appetite. Food was well presented and hot, meals are reasonably priced. There was also specials board with daily specials.

   We have stayed at “The Ship” several times…the most recent was yesterday. As ever we received a warm welcome and enjoyed a good meal in the pub. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet and we like having a mini fridge with milk and continental breakfast provided.

   Nice pint, lovely food, staff were very nice. I took a disabled grumpy disabled neighbour, the staff coped with him perfectly. I will definitely go back again but take someone nice with me.

   Met up with friends for a night. The room was clean, a good size and comfortable. Great value for the price. The menu had a good selection and the meals were freshly cooked and generous portions. Staff were lovely.

   Fabulous in every aspect. Room was clean, spacious, modern and very comfortable. Continental breakfast had an exceptionally wide variety of offerings to give the perfect start to the day. The bar/pub was cosy with log fires, traditional furniture and welcoming atmosphere and great food. Last but not least, the staff - helpful, cheery, polite and good at their jobs. I could not have asked for better . Already booked my next stay. Thankyou for perfection
