I made a genuine mistake with my online booking, the dates were correct but the month was incorrect. I gave the owner notice but he refused to amend the booking for the correct month and charged me in full. Disappointing to say the least!
This place is mot accurate on thyre website it gives a misleading impression of what your accommodation will be I had to call only to find out I would be paying 182 pounds for 1 night stay . I've stayed at much classier upmarket hotels for less!! Please avoid
A short visit, room only - Lockgate Dairy is our first stay in the area. The host is delightful and attentive - love him and this beautiful property in this wonderful place. We made ourselves comfortable in a sweet cottage boasting awesome, rustic features, offering lots of space and everything you might need for a memorable time. Appreciating the kindness in the offer of this unexpected upgrade and local insight given. Very helpful All being well I look forward to visiting again! We travel alot of places and by far this is the best place we have stayed, beautiful and peaceful, room was fantastic nice and warm and cosy. Windows in the roof to see the stars, Staff was so welcoming and lovely, would highly recommend staying here we will definitely be coming back here. Prefect place to have a break. Thank you so much.
Clean, friendly service, spacious rooms, good quality beds, shower & bath unit was first class. Lovely setting. Off the beaten track. So feeling of getting away from it all. Highly recommended. Also, great quality for money. Because of the lockdown restrictions, only had cereal in the morning. Not bothered. Went to Worthing and had a great stroll along the beach and brilliant breakfast on the pier.
This was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and warm, comfy beds too. Everything was thought of, milk in the fridge when we arrived, shower gels and hand lotions, towels, dressing gowns, all cutlery etc! The beach and Chichester are just a few minutes drive away. This is away from the hustle and bustle, very peaceful and quiet. Martin is a welcoming host and was available if needed. We will be coming back!
It was a work visit and a last minute booking, however Martin was more than accommodating he made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was excellent! - Martin made sure we were fully feed and watered before we left with a full english and an array of other treats and of course plenty of coffee. Simply Stunning, we stayed in one of the cottages and loved every bit about it. The cottage had a gorgeous romantic feel, the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, breakfast was lovely with lots to offer. Martin was a great host and suggested an amazing location for dinner, this B&B exceeded my expectations and i am looking forward to returning to such a hidden little gem.
