   Excellent hotel with beautiful comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a great selection and very filling. The staff are very friendly and nothing is any trouble. It’s in a great location just a couple streets back off the seafront. It’s ideal if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay for the Great South Run , as only 5 min walk from start / finish line . The accommodation is set over building’s so you could be staying across the road of the main hotel. But it’s no problem. The Florence pub across the road is lovely to have a meal and pint in. You can pay for reserved parking , but if you get there around 3pm you can park on the street opposite the hotel and request a parking pass at booking. This is my 3rd year staying.

   We have stayed at this lovely hotel on several occasions with our small dog. We had a room in the new garden annexe this time and it was bright, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing as usual and the staff so friendly and helpful. The garden area is a beautiful place to sit and have a drink and a meal in the warmer weather. You can pay and book for off street parking or just ask for a parking permit and park on the street immediately outside the hotel.

   Excellent location to beach and restaurants; all within walking distance. Free street parking or pay for off road. Fabulous breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and welcoming.

   No problem parking. Check in was quick and the staff are lovely. Our room was on the top floor...really spacious and bright. The bed was very comfortable. Nice garden area. Breakfast was really nice. The food in the pib across the road was really good too. Close to the seafront and d day museum. Would like to stay again soon.

   The room was clean and tidy and a nice little room. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a fan in the room which was appreciated. The shower was lovely and the bathroom clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating and check in/check out is very smooth. The hotel is close to the seafront and in a nice location. The hotel itself is quiet and charming. The breakfast was satisfactory, tea, coffee juice etc is available and the menu has a range of options.

   A lovely home like setting and just like most reviews, the staff are absolutely lovely and go far and beyond for you. The breakfast was lovely. Only thing i would have loved was a smart tv with netflix access for my kid. Otherwise it was all amazing and would definitely be back.

   Room was nice but really small for the amount we paid. There was mould around the mirror in the bathroom, the waiting staff at breakfast was quite rude. The bed was really comfy and the food was nice. But 28 hours after we left, they rang to say that they couldn't find the parking permit that was handed in with the room key (if you lose it they charge you £100, even though it costs £10 to replace). Overall I wouldn't recommend this place, if you're going to Portsmouth, stay elsewhere.

   Set over 3 buildings two minutes from seafront in a quiet area. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Staff at reception chatty and helpful. Would recommend and stay again.
