We stayed in early October for a week in a quiet area of the park and enjoyed it so we decided to buy a new caravan and asked if we could put it on the same pitch where we stayed to which wasn't a problem. The staff on the whole site are friendly and Mike the salesman was easy going and helpful and put no pressure on buying. I like the idea of the sports bar with plenty of screens to watch the football and have a pint. The whole site is well set up for kids and plenty of places to visit off site. Definitely a decent site for a holiday and the caravan we stayed in was clean and had everything you needed. The only downside was the phone connection inside the caravan you had to step outside but that could of been down to my network coverage.

I am probably biased because I bought a caravan this year, to be closer to my granddaughter. I love where I am, as soon as I get there I am so relaxed. Price, for drinks, food etc are fine but I have a pass. I did like the entertainment, and loved the kids parts. My family had a caravan decades ago before the big companies took over. I love that it's not huge but, when I wasn't there and read on the FB page, a few days there were kids driving cars at speed round the sight and no security to sort it. They really need to do something because they don't treat the owners right. I have family, friends and strangers stay and there have been no problems and they have enjoyed the sight so no complaints. Skipsea village has a lovely pub that serves meals and Skipsea beachcomber is next door.

Despite being advertised as 400m from the beach, you cannot access the beach at all, so that was very misleading. The park has lots of great facilities, the pool is great! The caravan was fine, basic, however having booked for an infant with a travel cot, the rooms were all too small to fit it in, this is a massive safety issue with small babies! Luckily the team were able to remove one of the beds to accommodate the travel cot. Plenty to do onsite even being off peak.

Beautiful park. We upgraded but the caravan was super clean, warm central heating, mattresses were comfy. Nice selection of drinks in the bar, a little shop and a bit of entertainment. Nice view of the sea from our van. Was good value. Staff were all very polite abd a good laugh.

We enjoyed a midweek break at skipsea. The park was extremely well tended and very clean. Our caravan was bright and clean. One thing - it would have been nice if there had been even a dustpan and brush! The onsite shop(NISA) was well stocked and ,mostly, reasonably priced. We would like to mention one of the entertainers, whom we seen on site through the day. Amber was friendly, chatty and just lovely. Would not recommend eating at the only restaurant(The Boathouse) . I ordered the Roast Chicken dinner. The chicken was lovely the sides were disgusting and should have been binned at least two days before. If you intend to cook in the caravan take a decent sharp knife.

Nice small site. Shame there's no access to the beach. Evening entertainment was OK. Food expensive but they always are at these types of places (they would actually make more money if they lowered prices as we would have used it more). Swimming pool is fairly basic (no slides etc) but that was fine for us. Good base for lots of places to visit around the east coast.

Nice tidy touring pitch at a great price. Helpful staff and nice facilities, we really enjoyed the pool. Touring toilet facilities could be better but we used our own so not really an issue for us. The east Yorkshire bus service wasn't reliable.

We have been coming here for the past 8 years in our caravan, usually we have a great holiday, this years holiday was not to be that good. 1st night we spent there we had a bin in our awning that had been chewed to bits by rats, there was a tent with 4 adults and dogs, they was woken up in the middle of the night with rustling in there tent to find rats had got in and chewed open wrapped up food in the tent, at 3am they gathered all the food in there tent and took it to the bins only to face thousands of rats underneath the bins he said it just looked like the whole floor was moving. On his way back to his tent he noticed Rats in all the toilet and shower blocks, they packed up and left the morning after and was refused a refund from the reception for the rest of there holidays and was told the park is aware of the rats and they should have read trip adviser reviews about the rats before coming to the park, and couldn't of cared less. We found the toilet and shower blocks had not been cleaned for days and were filthy. the second set of toilet blocks had been closed for infestation of rats, so there is 96 touring pitches and 3 male and 3 female toilets and the same amount of showers to share so if there is 2 people in a van/tent that's 192 people not including children to use 6 toilets and 6 showers. This year is the last time we will visit this park, it is not what it used to be.

Perfect for a holiday away with a 3 year old and 2 dogs. Good facilities on the site to keep us all entertained and access to the beach. Good choice of static caravans to suit all family sizes. Playgrounds dotted around the site to help keep the children entertained.

Holiday is what you make it, however this place what a let down this year. Every machine was broken. Everyone! The pool ques had no tips dirt everywhere. The kids club was poor too..45 min bingo between the "show" and kept telling all the kids in the club to be quiet.. passes had to be bought to be allowed into the complex too, no information on website about this. Security on door?! Security inside didn't feel safe at all. Anxiety if anything. Debating coming back next year! Unimpressed repeat customer
