Really nice hotel, room was great, nice decor and AC blew ice cold which was greatly appreciated. Did have an issue with code sent via email for entering room but was quickly resolved over the phone, no issues there. I do wish the hotel had some form of parking, however with the location I appreciate and understand its not feasible. Music from bars outside was noticeable, it wasnt a huge issue for us, could be for others, but with the location of the hotel its to be expected. I also wish it had an openable window, but despite these things its likely id stay again.

Great price, really nice staff, no noise, the room we had was very space, fresh and there were two toilets which was quite convenient. TV in both bedroom and living room so we could be flexible with where we were. We also appreciated the water tank just outside the room, much needed! And very central so just walking for around the corner will lead you to shops and the malls. Highly recommend!

Dire - clubbing crash pad only We stayed here to visit relatives and checked reviews for noise due to the area and expected it would be ok. There is no sound insulation between the rooms and what is basically a club below. The entire building is unacceptably noisy. We tried to resolve with management a partial refund after we moved out on night 1 of 2, that was 3 months ago still no refund (not even part refund!) If you are going for a big night out this place is ideal, if not run, run for hills!

I am highly dissatisfied with Green Ginger House Apart-Hotel in Hull. The code to our room was given to maintenance guy who entered our room at 1am in the middle of the night, where we have been sleeping! Also, the hotel wanted to charge me additional 85GBP for used soap and two bathroom sheets that they claimed have been removed from the room. Manager was forcing that payment by refusal to send the receipt for my stay. As I have booked business trip, they were simply using this made-up story to reinforce me to pay this ridiculously high charge, as they knew I need invoice. There was no policy indicated in regards to this charge amount and absolutely no justification. They just said - these were luxury towels. Anyway, the room is highly overpriced and far away from the standard of luxury hotel rooms. It was small, dull and dark. The smell was not nice and the room is not soundproof so you can hear loud city center street and clubs right in the same building. The radiator in bathroom was not working, making it freezing cold and not able to take shower. E-mail communication does not exist - I have not received my code before arrival, no information about wi-fi code - finally - no receipt provided although my multiple requests. Further disappointment comes from long waiting time on the phone line to connect with support. There is also very strict cancellation policy. I feel like in the middle of nowhere far away from standards of London or even other Northern hotels, such as in Manchester or Liverpool. Please avoid, especially for business trip. My company will remove this hotel from our booking list - we are not going to do any more cooperation together.

Lovely, modern hotel. We stayed one day and met no other human beings! Entry is through a code, which works for check in, re-entry and room. I got the code by calling and it was sent immediately. The room was wonderfully clean, spotless. Nice large bathroom with a fabulous rain shower. Located in the old town of Hull, ten minutes walk from the railway station, ten minutes walk from The Deep, and minutes from the city centre shops.

A very disappointing stay - noise pollution from next door night club and bright green lights in the room, made this a difficult place to sleep. This spoilt an otherwise well decorated studio room. Although the shower room was a bit underwhelming. An expensive stay, which I would not recommend. There was little customer service. We did meet a pleasant person on the second day, who provided us with earplugs, however, this was too little too late. We came to Hull to watch Michael Kiwanuka at the Bonus Arena, which was awesome. Shame we didn't find somewhere better to stay.

This was a last minute booking as we had tickets for the Bonus Arena. I choose the accommodation because of its central location & price point. The room & en-suite were immaculate. Maybe the decorations are not to everyone’s taste. I found them quirky & different. I loved the way the lights & furniture flowed from the public areas into the bedroom. We did not have any issues re the key pad either getting into the building or our room. The room was quiet with no issues re noise from either outside or inside. A fantastic find. We would definitely stay here again.
