It was hard getting her settled in at first, many tears both me & her but the staff were so supportive and helped Sofia settle in very quickly. I have noticed a very positive change in her behavior since she started the nursery, she has become more independent and she’s now happy to go nursery. I would recommend the nursery, I have personally seen my child’s behavior change positively, it’s always been a struggle to manage tantrums and get her to listen but I don’t face these issue anymore. Happy days :)”

We have had both of our kids in private nursery for the last three years, thinking it was the best choice for them. But they can compare to the level of education that they receiving at raddlebarn at the moment. We just received Khiaras (my daughters) feedback from nursery last week; and I have to say it got me into tears, I’ve never seen such a beautiful in depth feedback about my kids. I can clearly see that they are all doing amazing observations about my child, as she’s only been there for two months & her teachers know exactly how she is. I regret so much not knowing about raddlebarn nursery/school earlier I would have had both my kids assisting the school from nursery. ( my son is already in reception) The way they talk about her, the incredible pictures they toke for the report, the beautiful story they created to talk about my daughter, means the world to me knowing that she’s getting looked after by people that not only do their job to get pay I can clearly see they love my daughter and they really want to get to know her. I think it’s amazing. I never had this feeling in the past. I couldn’t be happier sending my kids to Raddlebarn! You guys are doing AMAZING! Sílvia”

She came from a main stream primary and it was a big decision to then send her to a special school but it was the best decision we made. She has thrived at Selly oak although I will hasten to add she does have some issues which are always resolved. I have a good rapport with all staff and can't praise them enough. Please go and have a look and seriously consider sending your child there. I don't regret my decision and I know you won't.”

“Life-Changing Support Tailored to My Needs From May 2023 to May 2024, I received individual counselling from Open Door Counselling in Edgbaston, Birmingham, with Angela as my counsellor. The sessions were invaluable in helping me cope with the emotional challenges of going through a difficult life event. At my lowest point, the counselling sessions provided one of the only spaces where I could unload the immense stress I was experiencing without feeling judged or patronised. Angela’s approach was incredibly responsive to my needs, creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where I felt truly heard and supported. Her counselling helped me to appreciate all that I had been doing for my children and to recognise the strength and effort I was putting into supporting them. Importantly, Angela guided me to understand that in order to continue being there for them, I also needed to focus on my own well-being, which I had been neglecting. Through our sessions, I was able to reassess my core principles, appreciate their value, and realise how they have shaped who I am today. One of Angela’s most impactful skills was her ability to re-frame viewpoints that I held. She encouraged me to approach life with greater flexibility and guided me to stop allowing negative past experiences to dictate or inhibit my future decisions. This shift in perspective was empowering and has had a lasting positive impact on how I approach challenges and opportunities alike. Angela’s approach was consistent with the principles of talking therapy—reflective, insightful, and empowering. She encouraged me to explore what my words and feelings meant for me and to reflect on what my situation signified in the broader context of my life. This process helped me gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and find a renewed sense of self-worth and direction. Angela’s professionalism, empathy, and unwavering dedication to my well-being were remarkable. Her thoughtful guidance and consistent support made the counselling sessions a lifeline during one of the most challenging times of my life.
