“First time I've used this surgery, I was referred from my usual GP as they were short staffed. The surgery is fairly new, plenty parking and easy to get to via car. Surgery was pretty much empty when I arrived. The GP, which I believe was Dr Latunji was very good, better than average, she listened diligently to my issue and diagnosed it perfectly and advised what to do next, she also advised further more than she needed to so quite pleased with my visit. We're quick to fault Drs these days but my experience here was a good one. I hope others have an A1 experience too.”

Even though the department was clearly busy, they made sure to explain everything and kept me informed throughout the process. The nurses and doctors were professional, kind, and patient. They took the time to listen and treated me with respect and compassion. I felt safe and well looked after, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. “I see there are many negative reviews of this surgery however I would like to share that my experience is very different. I joined the surgery 5 years ago due to a house move. I have struggled with menopause and wasn't listened to by my previous surgery at Wylde Green and I couldn't get a female doctor at all. At Jockey Road, I got a quick appointment with Dr Hicken who reviewed my history and advised accordingly. They have been able to offer suitable appointments and even face to face on request ever since. The system is transferring more online but there's always someone to talk to if issues occur. The only thing I would recommend is a bit more guidance for young people as they really don't understand how NHS works from my experience of having teens/young adults. Getting to know different doctors would also be a bonus, as my daughter tends to speak to different ones and don't even remember their name, which is more her problem than the surgery's one!”

“I’ve had appointments with two GPs, dr Kharwadkar and dr Pasha and both experiences were very good. All staff, including the IUD assistant/nurse (apologies as I didn’t catch your name) really took their time to make me feel at ease and listened to the concerns that I had about my symptoms/the procedure. All reception staff have been very polite and helpful, too. I feel really lucky to have such a good health centre on my doorstep. Thank you.”
